  • It was a beautiful, relaxing oasis within walking distance to town.

“This hotel was beautiful from the moment you walked into the lobby. The view of the water through the palm trees was amazing. We travel all over the world and have been to Key West before and previously stayed on the water by Mallory Square. I didn't know there was such a peaceful, laid back resort just a mile or so from the excitement of Key West down town. Our travel friends enjoyed it immensely too.”

  • Good food.
  • To crowded, no parking.

“Overall it is an ok place, when you check out you'll find out that they have a $20 per night resort fee. $12 per day parking and there is no real beach, it's rock.”

  • The location and hotel setting was very nice.
  • Very expensive meals, room had no king bed, and
    room service was poor.

“The hotel was in a great location with a great beach. Meals are very expensive, but the quality was excellent. The beach staff was outstanding. Room service (cleaning, etc.) was poor. You had to ask for coffee each day if you wanted any for the coffee pot in your room. You even had to ask to get a coffee pot. A daily Internet charge was required if you wanted to use the service, and it was shut down at 11:00 pm each night. For what you pay for the hotel, it should be free. Overall, it was a great place for my spouse and I.”

  • Beautiful plantation style architecture, comfortable rooms, great beach location.
  • Rooms not as plush as I'd expect for a resort. Beach staff was very friendly, unlike front desk staff.

“Overall, this is a nice hotel. The beach location is beautiful, the food is good and the beach staff is friendly. The concierge/front desk staff was not helpful with excursions and restaurant options, so I'd recommend visiting the tourism office when coming into town for those wanting alternative options to sunbathing.”

  • Visually from outside very nice.
  • Not tubs in room - no hot tub on property - not kid / family friendly.

“No tub in the room. No hot tub on property. Hotel food was ok at best with a hefty pricetag. Electricity went out, 2 elevator did not work while we were there, hot water heater (boiler) broke while we there. Brought this to the attention of front desk and all they stated was sorry. Very little to no entertainment on property.”

  • Loved the historic designation; the location; the decor.
  • The restaurant was just okay - slow service and adequate dining although the food served at the pool bar although casual was quite good.

“I have a goal to stay in historic or unique hotels when I travel. It has the Flagler history, although this is downplayed. I loved the decor of the lobby and room. The windows were quite sound proofed but there was noise above although we did sleep well. I loved the out of the way location in Key West. This is my second stay at Casa Marina and I plan to return. I travel in the fall when kids are in school and not likely to be out in full force. Our last stay was in July and it was much too family oriented for our taste.”
