“This hotel was great for the price. They have a nice continental breakfast with hot and cold items and the pool is open 24 hours.”

“Good value for money. Clean, and nice. The room was comfortable, except for the bed which was way to firm for me. I had difficulty sleeping and my back ached as a result of the firmness, but this is pretty much standard for most hotels.”

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hot tub was out of order. Their continental breakfast had decent food, but there was no where to eat. Had to take our meal back to our room. The room was clean and decent sized, but we could see daylight out of the bottom of the front door. We expected a nicer hotel.”

“Barely a two-star hotel, with declining general quality due to poor maintenance.”

“For our purposes this hotel was what met our needs. We were across from the swimming pool but were surprised that there was little noise. However, there was a lot of noise from either the room above us or running in a hallway above us.”

“We actually stayed at the Shilo Inn on the ocean.
The front desk clerk went out of her way (on a busy night) to accommodate us and made arrangements for us to stay at the Shilo Inn we desired. The service was wonderful, the hotel was clean and we will defiantly be back!”

“Nice location, relatively clean (except noted above). Requested Shilo East to make reservations for dinner. That was done when we got there we requested a table, they told us they had only booths available, so they sat us in the bar, passing many empty tables on the way. I think we must have been invisible for a good 20 minutes. I had to reach out to a waitress as she was passing by to ask if we could place an order. The food was good, the service was lousy.”

“I thought the price was high considering the distance from the beach. However, the room was
very big and clean! It was a nice change after spending 3 nights in a downtown Portland hotel. Rooms have a refrigerator, in room coffee, and a microwave. I would recommend.”

“Would not recommend this hotel based on our experience. The wireless Internet never worked, the room was the size of a closet, loud neighbors,
no tables and chairs anywhere to eat their continental breakfast. Ended up eating at the check in counter!”

“Breakfast hardly rated the word
mediocre juice, coffee, shaky pastries, small apple.”

“Other than needing pillows and blankets, the hotel was great. If we vacation in Seaside again, will probably stay at Shilo Inn again.”
