• Staff went above & beyond in every way!
• Physically getting to the front entrance was a challenge.

“The incredible staff at this hotel is what made the difference for me and if I return to Akron I will stay there without a doubt! They were accommodating in so may ways, and honest! I left my gold earrings in the hotel room, checked out and realized about 3 hours later I left them in the room. I called and they checked and the staff member who cleaned the room turned them in so all I had to do was pick them up at my convenience! I've left things before at other places and was out of luck. These people are doing something right!”

• The weekend night bartender was exceptional. His personality greatly enhanced the stay.
• Cleaning staff didn't leave kleenex and didn't clean our drinking glasses.

“I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The only problem I encountered was a few minor mistakes by the cleaning staff. But overall, the facility and room were kept very clean.”

• The staff was most helpful and very friendly. The morning breakfast was very good and love those waffles.
• We missed having a whirlpool next to the swimming pool.

• The personnel were very helpful and pleasant.
• The furniture (television) was not what is usually found in a 3 star hotel. There was no indoor pool.

“This hotel was near the highway, however, I wouldn't say it was close to the airport which I was looking for. The personnel was super. The facilities lacked some modernization.”

• Decent location, close to lots of restaurants, shopping, etc.
• Not 3-star quality. Room was 2-star at best.

• Cleanliness and convenience.
• Strangely, there was not a door on the shower. Still was a good experience, though.

“We were quite impressed of the quality for the price we payed. Excellent room. Things were very quiet and we had a good nights stay considering there were 3 major events booked at this hotel at once.”

• The hotel was very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The headboard in the room was not centered over the bed.

“This hotel was located in an area the was convenient to shopping, food, gas, and the bank. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast had many things to offer. They always have hot coffee available at the desk.”

• Very nice staff, location and surounding area great.
• Nothing in particular.liked everything.

“Near shopping, movies and lots of resturants. Close to major highways, Staff was incredible nice and friendly. It was genuine from the front desk, maid service, resturant server. Just a good feeling all around.”

• I liked the fact I could access wireless throughout the hotel and the staff was friendly.
• I did not like the fact my iron was broken and leaked water on my clothes.

“Upon arrival, the hotel staff was efficient and friendly. My room was clean, so were all the hotel common areas. The entire facility was clean and I experienced no problems. I would stay at this hotel again.”

• Right off expressway - newly remodeled - fancy bar - service went out of their way to please.
• Bathroom in room had bad caulk around tiles and it was brown towards the floor. Swimming pool.

“The lobby & bar looked like a high end hotel. Newly remodeled - looked great...was very pleased from the start.”

• The individual at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
• Older, somewhat rundown facility.

“If I select 3-star level, I expect certain things a clean, well-kept, impressive facility. I found none of these things there. I can't think of many Holiday Inns that meet that expectation, especially this one. Even the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable.”
