• The bed was very comfortable.
• The only available parking was valet and it was expensive.

“The hotel was excellent value for the price we paid. It was right on the beach. The rooms we were originally given were very small but after we complained (only mildly) to a manager we given fantastic 1 bed room suites.”

“I spent almost 30 minutes to check in. The Fire alarm was on during my check-in! It's not comparable to all other Le Meridien. The room is tiny. They don't even provide an alarm clock. I will never stay in this hotel again.”

• Friendly staff.
• Tiny rooms and extra resort charge added at checkout.

“Very pleasant experience, from valet to check-out. Everyone smiled; public areas were beautiful, as were the rooms, though quite small, I think the bathroom was bigger than the bedroom! Nice restaurant had wonderful food and service at good prices for Miami and a hotel. Located away from the South Beach madness which is nice though could disappoint if looking for that. Would recommend.”

• It was not a 4 star hotel.

“It was more like a 3 star hotel. The only way you could get ice was to order it through room service. The maids did not replenish the shampoo or conditioner, and there wasn't a spare roll of toilet paper in the room (use your imagination there)! The room was so small that there wasn't any room to store a suit case. The closet was so small/short; you could only hang shirts, and not your pants! The pool was so small, only one family at a time could swim in it. The hotel was located next to a disgusting condo complex. Basically, it was the worst hotel I think I have ever stayed in with the exception of a Motel 6 I was forced to stay in when I was in college!”

• The room was fabulous: spacious and comfortable.
• The hot tub by the pool never worked while there.

“The pros: The hotel is gorgeous, ultra-clean, and well-appointed and our room was fabulous. The service was excellent, relative to other luxury hotels around North America and the Caribbean in which we've stayed. The beach is beautiful as well. The cons: The breakfast buffet was overpriced, so we did not dine in the hotel. The pool area is disappointing in terms of size and features, and the hot tub never worked during our stay.”

• The $25 per day parking charge for hotel guests.

“The hotel was in a great location and the room was very accommodating and right on the ocean. Bathroom necessities were wonderful Elemis couldn't be better. The room was a bit small to our liking but overall the hotel was great.”

• On the beach, suite is very nice, great view.
• Room was tiny.

“Overall a nice hotel if you stay in a suite. Standard one bedroom room is tiny, you practically open the door to the room and are on your bed. Great view of the ocean and can walk straight from hotel to the beach. Service is ok.”

• Style.

“The hotel in it self is very nice. The room has style and really nice. Love the beds! We just stayed in the hotel room style though and it was like opening the door and there is your bed. Very small! Beautiful though and very friendly staff.”

• The rooms are beautiful. We had an ocean view and it was awesome. All suite.
• Staff is not on top of things - most things. $25 valet parking and very small pool.

“Don't plan on having any interaction with the staff and you will have a wonderful time. The beach is lovely and the hotel beautiful: the rooms clean and spacious. But confusion amongst the staff and untrained personnel makes this stay somewhat painful. They reversed the charges for the wireless Internet which was good.”

• Beautiful view, modern, great location, wonderful beach.
• Small pool, lack of dining options, no WiFi, expensive valet parking.

“Great beachfront location and just minutes away from Aventura Mall and Bal Harbour, Le Meridien is great if you want to relax. Beware of added fees: they charge $25 for daily parking plus a resort fee. The classic room is tiny (good for a 1 night stopover), but the suites are amazing. Great beds with white duvets. Business travelers will not like the lack of wireless internet access. Beach is great but pool is extremely small. Only one restaurant at the hotel, Bice, good but expensive.”
