“Hotel was wonderful. Disappointed that hotel staff directed us to the pay for parking when there was free street parking for the hours that we were going to be there. I had asked about the free parking as it is stated on their website.”

• Rooms were nice with upgraded decor and beds were comfy.

“This is a nice hotel with nicely upgraded rooms and comfortable beds, but I was very shocked that it costs $17 to park at the hotel considering it's not a downtown location. The staff was very courteous and helpful.”

• So bright and in a great location. Loved the extras - nice towels, duvet, shampoos etc.

• Great location, competent staff.
• There are different types of room, but there is no definition of these differences.

“This is a great hotel if you want to stay in a great location, near the subway, near lots of great restaurants and with close by parking, either in the hotel or on the street or nearby. The hotel rooms vary in design upscalesness (eg, flat screen TV, tube TV, plain bathroom).”

• Location, cleanliness, comfort.
• Breakfast food - rather unhealthy choices, no vegetables, no fresh fruit, just canned.

“Good hotel, clean and comfortable, nice large rooms and large bathrooms. Excellent location with easy subway access to downtown. Only two (minor) things that I didn't like: room windows cannot open, and breakfast food, although filling and fresh, was not quite healthy (no veggies, no fresh fruit, just canned sugared fruit, excellent breads though), but those issues will not stop me from coming here again and again.”

• I was very disappointed wit our stay at this hotel as we were awakened every hour all night long by drunken patrons.

“There was no control of the disturbance by the drunken patrons who kept us up the entire night and we were only given free parking for not having slept the entire night. I was not impressed.”

• Furnishings were very uncomfortable.

“I will never stay here again. I expected much more from a Novotel. Sofa bed was a standard fold up mattress built into a home made box it was very uncomfortable chair was small and uncomfortable. We stole furniture from the lobby so we had some where to sit. Pool was cold, small and dirty.”

• The main entrance/lobby.
• Very tight room space - barely fit the 2 double beds.

“Microwave are not available and not provided for families with babies to warm milk. Basic level of functionality. Room size barely fit the 2 double beds. No free parking, need to pay $15/night or use public parking across the street at a lesser fee.”

“I did not stay in the hotel. Went to view hotel and area and it was totally unsuitable for my needs. The safety of the area in which this hotel is located is questionable. I definitely would not take a family.”

• Accommodated our pet incredibly! No charge + freebies.
• Nothing.

“Great hotel room. Was hoping for a place that took our small dog, and this place accepted all 3 of us with grace. Contemporary room setup, well lit, spectacularly clean, lots of room, sofa which opened to two additional beds.”

• Room decor, location, comfy bed, nice view, roomy.
• Noisy kids in lobby, not able to remove items from mini bar without being charged.

“It was frustrating that we couldn't use the in room refrigerator to store our own items. If we moved any pre-stocked item, we would have been charged. A usable fridge is a valuable addition to any room.”

• We were put in a room with a connecting door and could hear our neighbors clearly.

“The hotel was clean and very nice. The pool was small but the fitness room looked good. The bed in the room was very, very comfortable. The staff was very friendly.”
