“The hotel could use a little more attention. Freshen up the rooms.”

“My first impression when we drove up was it was right on the street, and just a few yards from a railroad track we didn't know until we heard the trains coming through all night. Outside gave the impression it was a dump. Run down looking. Rooms had been renovated and were clean and presentable. Pool hadn't been cleaned and it was Labor Day weekend, very disappointing not to be able to swim. Will never stay there again.”

“For the price, it was okay. But the housekeepers really need some training. My daughter found a pair of mens underwear under the desk and there were pieces of toilet paper all around the bathroom floor. The pipe underneath the bathroom sink leaked when brushing my teeth. The wireless internet and no strength what so ever. I did point all this out the the front desk when checking out and they didn't seemed to fazed at what I had told them. We were just in for a night, using the room just to sleep, but this hotel really needs to pay attention to detail.”

“General appearance was not the best looking but the rooms were more than satisfactory. One of most comfortable we have stayed in.”

“The locations was hard to find, and one of the front desk ladies was kind of rude when we checked in at 11:00pm, the room was clean and roomy, but the door had big crack in the bottom and in the right side, the sliding doors by the swimming pool had the seals missing between the doors, so we could not sleep the first night to the mosquito bites and the often noise of the train that was so loud that it seems passing right outside of the sliding door, we got all the towels from the bathroom and stick them between the sliding doors. We ask the next morning if they had another room available and they told that to wait until that afternoon, but when we came back at night our key didn’t work so we thought they moved us to another room, but when we check with the front desk they told us no, because they didn’t have enough room so they fix the seal in the doors. After getting to bed we find out that a small part of seal was still missing from the top, so we got a washcloth and stick in.”

“Rooms seem they were fixed or remodeled but bed was nasty. Bathroom toilet very stained. Needs security watch and ground hours keeping.”

“Short drive from airport, but maneuvering the I-35 to and from the motel is definitely a learning curve and a GPS or Mapquest is strongly recommended. The internet terminal in the lobby was up and running well. No alarm clock was provided in the room. A crawling insect was observed in the bathroom. One electrical outlet was not functioning properly. One wall had a barely-patched hole in it.”

“I don't usually complain, but I need to in this case. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in all of the places I have ever stayed. The room location was terrible, right by a railroad track that had trains running throughout the night. Getting in and out of the room was extremely difficult. The card lock system was messed up on the door. Even the room they switched me into had door problems. Unable to get in several times. Had the inconvenience of having to take long walks to the office to get the card key re-done to get into my room far too many times. The staff and manager were not co-operative in making my stay more comfortable or more convenient. I could go on with my unhappy experience, but it probably wouldn't do me any good. I realize this was suppose to be economy, but believe me it wasn't even that. It certainly wasn't worth what I was paying for it, even though it was reduced.”

“Had issues checking in due to a hurricane evacuation, there was no support from this hotel whatsoever. Hotel was disgusting. I will never attempt to stay there again nor will recommend anyone else to unless in a dire emergency.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone the customer service upon arrival was very bad. She did not seem to even acknowledge that we were standing there she kept her head down. We had a long drive from Houston and when we arrived there we really needed to use the bathroom, she said they did not have one instead of just saying it was out order and at least trying to find us a bathroom but after reporting her to the manager it got better.”

“The hotel was under renovation, carpet was being laid. I had small children with bare feet. Nails in boards outside of our room, was not good. It was however, not on the North side.”

“I would not stay at this hotel again unless it was the only thing available. They definitely need to paint and make repairs to this hotel. I think Rode way would not be happy to see their name on this establishment.”

“The room was in poor condition. There was no continental breakfast. On the plus side, my husband woke up early and had a nice workout in their gym and the hotel was easy to find.”
