• Nicely decorated. Very clean. Updated.
• Being in a room next to the lobby. TOO LOUD.

“The hotel was fine. It was clean and decorated nicely. Ask for a room not next to the lobby though. It is extremely loud. Doors start slamming about 5 am.!”

• Large room, comfortable bed, mini fridge.
• Single cup coffee maker, but offset by available coffee in lobby area.

“Central location as handy to Bangor Mall, Targets and Burlington Coat Factory. No on site restaurant, but many close by. None smoking facility but ample outside smoking areas. Good coffee in lobby area. No continental breakfast or free snacks. Clean, attractive premises.”

• Rooms were very large we had LOTS of room!
• Little bit out of the way but once you find it, it's well worth the effort!

“Tastefully decorated and very inviting! Very comfortable beds and pillows. If only the walls were a little more sound proof ... could hear lots of hallway noise during the night.”

• Everyone was VERY friendly. Breakfast was good. Internet computers helped us find things to do.
• Not much to do near hotel unless you like the mall.

• Location was good but the decor was amazing. It was tastefully done!
• Breakfast set up was not acceptable to me.

“This was the nicest Marriott I have stayed in. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Extremely quiet. The staff was very helpful. Everything was beyond our expectations, except for the breakfast set up.”

• Top notch room and service -- close to 4 star.
• Not in an obvious location.

“New hotel designed with the new Marriott Courtyard layout. Outstanding room arrangement, especially for the business traveler. Excellent public seating area and computer access. Breakfast service clean and valuable. I travel a lot on business and it would be fair to say that this is one of the top business hotels I have stayed in, even if my specific travel was not business. Staff helpfulness and friendliness outstanding.”

• Bad location, surprised they didn't have a continental breakfast.

“The overall stay was very good, though I wasn't ready for the saline pool. The location and the ease of finding was a little less than desired.

• It was a beautiful room and family friendly and close to shopping and activities.
• The food area, and the prices. Selection was not real good but Denny’s was right down the road.

“I certainly will use this hotel when I visit Bangor, Maine. It is a great place and easy to get anywhere you want to go.”

• Attractive decor- salt water pool.
• Noisy heater - not spotless room.

“This is a pleasant modern hotel with some amenities. The heater/air-conditioner in the room is so noisy that it kept waking us at night. The pool is nice - small but salt water - very relaxing, and hot-tub too.”
