• Not of 4 Star quality, Over priced and Over rated.

“Upon checking in I was impressed by the entrance to the hotel, very neat clean and upscale. The honeymoon ended there however. While the lobby is well appointed the rooms show age and severe wear. I had broken furniture in my room, and overall the cleanliness was severely lacking. Mirrors, and counter surfaces were dirty. Dust was all thru the unit. Carpet was not clean. Mattress was lumpy, and some of the pillows were stained and smelled awe full.”

• The location was perfect, easy in and out. The accommodations were upscale and very comfortable.
• AC thermostat in room directly below AC vent. Falling cool air shut off AC before room was cool.

“I very much enjoyed by stay here. The rooms were well appointed and with wonderful linens and comfortable beds. The shower featured a double head that provided a great, relaxing shower. The only complaint would be the set up of the AC thermostat below the vent that didn't allow the room to sufficiently cool before shutting down the AC. The hotel apparently hosts a wind-down happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 each evening. We were unable to locate it at 5:45 and just went to dinner. By the time we returned at 7:45, it had been set up and was over. I would have enjoyed this.”

• The Hotel was clean, updated and and walking distance to the Metro
• Parking was $22.00 a day

“Great location. Convenient to DC. Plenty of shopping/dining within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel accomodated us by providing a small refrigerator and a crib for our 6 month old daughter.”

• Somewhat pricey, especially bottle water in room. Also air conditioner somewhat noisy.

• Very clean and modern.
• Location-it was a bit out of the way from Georgetown where we were going.

“The hotel was very nice and in a nice area -Starbucks in the lobby-beautiful lobby and lounge area-near a lot of restaurants and a mall. Only negative was we were there for Georgetown University and it was not that close-a $20 cab ride away.”

  I would not be due to room.

“The mini bar in the room that was ready, was not stocked and hotel staff came in and stocked while we were in the room. They charged me for parking.”

• Great location, walking distance to train/bus stations and restaurants. Safe neighborhood. Clean and quiet location. Highly recommend!
• Did not offer free internet access (cost $10 extra/day) and the water pressure in the shower wasn't great. Sufficient, but not great.

“Loved this hotel and highly recommend to anyone who wants to tour the DC or Arlington area. The train station is a short (and safe) two-block walk from the hotel and provides safe and convenient travel to/from the Smithsonian area and other popular DC sites, as well as the Arlington Cemetery. There are also many great restaurants within short walking distance that are reasonably priced. The neighborhood seemed very safe and more upscale. The hotel itself was great, too. Staff was very pleasant and helpful; all public areas of the hotel were clean and peaceful; the rooms were also very clean, well appointed and quiet. Beds were comfy and everything was in working order.”

• Internet not free and needed to pay $10 for a night.

“I just stayed several hours for sleeping. Good room for a night. The hotel is located near shopping mall good for having a dinner.”

• You have to pay to park on hotel property.

• Convenient to the business district.
• Does not pay attention to detail. Bed Linens were stained. We were moved to another room where those bed linens were stained as well.

“I was very disappointed that the bed linens and mattress was stained. We were quickly moved to another room but the bed linens and the pillows were stained in that room also. It completely ruined my taste for this hotel. It took housekeeping 30 minutes to change the bed linens because they saw the stains as they were replacing the sheets. They apologized for the inconvenience. It was an awful experience.”
