• The location of the Marriott was beneficial.
• We were VERY surprised and upset to find out there was NO pool.

“As a family of 4 going away for a few days in the summer we booked what we thought was a 4 star. We were very disappointed to find that the hotel we were given did not have a pool. What is a summer get a way with two children without a hotel pool. This put a damper on our plans and we ended up coming home early in the morning instead of spending the whole extra day as we planned.”

• Friendly staff; good location for sightseeing.
• Small size of beds and bathroom.

“Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Lots to see and do within walking distance. Expected to have a pool but didn't. Only outdoor lounging area was a terrace bar that was used for that exclusively after 5:00 pm. Not a great hotel for children and teens.”

• The location is great - The Hotel was Great - Staff Great.
• I have nothing negative to say - excellent facility.

“I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels. This hotel is in a great spot, the facility is in great shape, my room was very nice and clean, the staff did everything to make me feel wanted. I will stay here on all my trips to San Diego!”

• Clean rooms, upscale feel, and great staff.
• Loud family next door to me.

• Great beds.
• No shuttle to airport.

“The young staff was friendly, once they were tipped, but not a minute before that. From the minute we arrived, we felt unwelcome. The room was tiny, and the nice view was of an empty parking lot and the backside of a ballpark. The front desk had no knowledge of local eateries or restaurants. They suggested their own, but when we got to the lobby it was closed. The lack of a shuttle to the airport was a big problem, as taxis were hard to come by due to the big convention in town. The good: nice toiletries, n
