“If you are looking for a swanky hotel that is perfectly located in the heart of San Antonio this is it. The rooms have a great layout. The designer touches make the space feel uniquely chic. The location is a perfect starting point for all your local sightseeing. We were able to walk everywhere with great ease. The staff was friendly and the price was good. I will stay at this hotel when I travel to San Antonio.”

• I like the location of the Hotel, the friendly atmosphere and the contemporary look and feel.
• The parking situation I did not like.

“I really like the location of this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and having a family of five with three teenagers it was especially nice staying in a suite.”

• Convenient, clean and very friendly staff.
• The concierge was rarely available. Could have used some vending machines or a little larger shop for snacks or supplies.

• No self parking at hotel, had to use valet at $27/night.

“This is a new hotel with very friendly & helpful staff. The room was nicely furnished and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, but the sheets were a bit rough (maybe just new).”

• I loved the setting and the decor in the common areas and the restaurant.

“This hotel was well situated at a quiet point along the River walk and has a lovely outdoor patio. We loved the Spanish decor and the suite style accommodations - beds very comfortable. The restaurant was reasonably priced and served a wonderful breakfast.”

• Very modern lovely decor; located on the RiverWalk; room was very roomy.
• Difficult parking; had to use valet which was a long wait.

“This hotel was very impressive. Not the largest of hotels, but a quiet gem with a very modern atmosphere. The earthy decor and earth tone colors made it look very trendy and attractive. When we walked in we enjoyed the open atrium overlooking a wonderful view of the RiverWalk. We sat out in the patio and enjoyed a quiet area of the river walk. The room was very roomy with a seperate living area. I traveled with 2 other women, so the abundance of mirrors and dressing areas was a plus. I would recommend this hotel.”

“Elegant, pretty hotel right on the river. just a short walk from main attractions on river. Very friendly staff, all rooms very clean and very nice with suite - 2 TV's, large bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality - will stay again.”

• Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel experience was outstanding.

“We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Contessa. The room was comfortable and decorated nicely. We were conveniently located close to everything on the Riverwalk, as well as downtown attractions. In addition, interstate access was very close and we could get on and go anywhere in the city. Our experience here was excellent. Also, the hotel smelled great - I would love to have the same atmosphere system in my house!”

• Large suite rooms with a great location and friendly staff.
• Room needed to go coffee cups and the street side rooms could be noisy from the traffic.

“The Hotel met our expectation. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was professional and friendly. We thought the Hotel was new but found out it was 3 years old. They keep everything looking new.”

• For the price it was amazing very nice room.
• A little far from the riverwalk bars but managable.

“Very nice, gorgeous room and very clean. Great for a romantic weekend, and pretty close to the bars at riverwalk - bit of a walk but relatively close to all that's happening.”
