  • There is a lots of hidden fees.

  • The shower.
  • Noisy air conditioner.

“Away from south beach, the area was great for what we were looking for. First class accommodations in a great location.”

  • We received a free upgrade when we arrived due to a lack of rooms, so overall our experience was great!
  • Not a problem for us during our short stay, but the pool is full of kids, loud music at times and games.

“Our overall experience was really good. Our room was really nice with a view of the city and partial view of the ocean. The room was cleaned nicely everyday. Hotel staff was helpful and bilingual. A very family friendly hotel - not a top priority for us since it was just my husband and I, but this is a big part of the atmosphere there.”

“Great location in North Miami. Very clean and friendly staff. We have stayed there numerous times and will stay there again.”

  • Nice & cozy environment.
  • The restaurants were a bit expensive for the amount of food you recieved.

“I believe that this hotel was a great place for a honeymoon. The staff was friendly. The only thing I could think of that would need attention, is the cleaning ladies gathered around our room and spoke very loudly in the hall. I woke up several times and had to ask them to keep their voices down. Another thing was, there was construction above my room. Other than that everything else was awesome!”

  • I really liked the location and the resort was nice for amenities.
  • It is a family based resort so there were many kids running around the pool area and resort.

“The hotel and resort was nicely located in North Miami Beach. The area felt safe and many stores & restaurants were conveniently located within walking distance of the resort. The beaches and resort itself was really nice and well kept. We only had one problem and it was the Air Conditioner in the room. We called the front desk and were told maintenance would come check on it, but no one ever did. However, I still would recommend this place for a family or just a quick getaway.”

  • In Sunny Ils Beach.
  • Carpet was damp and room with bad view.

“Not a Resort Level.”

  • Location was great.
  • Room was not up to expectations.

“Okay for the price, had problems getting fresh towels everyday. AC system leaked through ceiling and caused paint to fall on floor everyday.”

  • Great room and amenities, right on the beach.
  • Service and food in restaurant not worth the money.

“This was a very nice hotel - right on the beach, with many amenities. Some additional costs that I was not expecting - a resort fee of $10.00 per day and parking fee of either $10.00 or $15.00 per day (neither mentioned anywhere)but the value was still good for something right on the beach. Overall, I would stay there again.”

  • Walking distance to good restaurants and drug store.
  • Got a room with view of roof and parking lot.

“Nice grounds and on the beach. Rooms need updating, but had MW and fridge as well as coffee maker. Also had table and chairs. Higher floor facing the ocean would have been better.”

  • The beach was very tidy and comfortable,Tiki bar was great and accommodated my desire to watch a race. Good location close to shops and restaurants.
  • The inside bar area wasn't opened, it would have been fun to have it opened.

“The room was clean and comfortable, view was okay for last minute. There were things to do Bingo, sports etc all organized, great pool and tiki bar as well as cool beach area. Everything was right there, so you didn't have to leave. Easy to get to by highway and water. I will keep it in mind next time I am in the area.”

  • Great location, staff
is friendly, mall across the street.
  • Nothing.

“Reception and bell staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist. Buffet breakfast good value and the pier seafood bar had great fresh seafood. Mall across the street with Marshall's and restaurants in close walking distance. We would definitely stay again.”

  • Lobby.
  • Parking, room, and decor.

“This hotel lobby gives you an impression of a decent 3 star property, then when you get off the elevator it's like you stepped into a 2 star property. I have never seen such old, out of date rooms in my life. Parking is a nightmare paying $10 to park in a dangerous area in an open uncovered lot and walking across a busy highway.”

  • Location, and pool.
  • Jacuzzi, lack of cable channels.

“This hotel is old and it shows. My room was a bit worn around the edges. The hotel staff was also lacking - one day I was left with no towels! Lack of good cable channels was also annoying and the jacuzzi definitely needs an upgrade as does the fitness center.”

  • Decor has really improved over the last year.
  • Rooms need to be updated. Nice but still stuck in the 80s.

“Price was okay for the area it is in. Expect to spend at least an extra $20/day between parking and resort fees. Renovations are going on in the basement of the hotel but did not interfere with the enjoyment of guests. Gratuities are included on every bill you receive therefore seemed like staff, especially restaurant staff, doesn't have much incentive for good service.”

  • Dogs are allowed in the hotel which makes it difficult to sleep. The hotel personnel are not helpful; it took 4 tries to get the towels to the room.

“If you are looking for a peaceful, friendly and a nice hotel, this is definitely not the best destination. They made it the worst vacation ever. Parking ( 10$ per day) which I think is ridiculous.”

  • The hotel was right on the beach.
  • The extra charges, the unclean room, and the unfriendly staff.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was not clean, and when we arrived the cleaning lady was still in the room. The staff was very unfriendly, and the hotel was dirty. I could not believe it was a 3-star.”

  • Right on the beach, and friendly staff.
  • Very old, dirty rooms - pool.

“The rooms and the pool were very dirty. The building was very old. It was a waste of money.”

  • The beach was beautiful and there was a tiki bar in walking distance.
  • The rooms were a bit outdated as far as decor.

“I was very pleased overall with my experience. They were out of standard rooms when we checked in. It was very close to shopping and restaurants. The parking was limited you either had to valet or park across a busy street from the hotel. The beach and pool area was beautiful.”
