• Beautiful hotel and was very clean.
• Quite a walk from Metro but trolley is available.

“I loved the hotel and would return. The area is beautiful and safe. While I enjoy walking, some may find it too far from Metro however a trolley does run every 15 minutes. Spacious and clean rooms.”

• I so appreciated the helpfulness of the parking attendants, as I was traveling with a very disabled senior.
• Limited food options.

“We enjoyed our trip to DoubleTree Hotel in Bethesda Maryland. Our needs as senior citizens with some mobility problems were addressed by a helpful staff. Especially appreciated was a very safe and clean parking environment.”

• The location was perfect.
• The air conditioner was old and ran all night - very disruptive sleep.

“The staff at the front desk was not friendly. Later in the evening when returning from dinner we wanted to ask a question and no one was at the desk, there was no bell to ring and we waited about 8 minutes and finally left. The hotel was OK, but if I had to pick it I would chose another one. The room was quite large. Parking the car was expensive.”

• The rooms were clean.
• The cost of parking was highway robbery!

“I really like Doubletree cookies, they only gave me one it was hot and hard because it was old. I did get there very late but no one asked me if I had a good stay. They didn't seem to care. One counter staff person greeted me as I came in and out. I was very disappointed in the cost of parking, $20 a day.”

• The location was good for the art festival; lobby was quite nice, as was the room.
• Drop off was difficult. Valet would not let most unload at the door!

“Except for the cranky valet, who wouldn't let you unload at the door, (they wanted you to park across the street and down the block, then lug your stuff from there) the hotel experience was top notch.”
