• very spacious, clean rooms with full kitchen
• free breakfast! wish it was served later than 9:30am.

“This was an amazing hotel! The rooms were huge with a full kitchen (dishwasher, stove, microwave, fridge...everything!) And it all seems brand new! The location is great and the staff was very friendly. I can't believe what a great deal this was for the money! Definitely felt like a 5 star hotel!”

• Excellent location, convenience, good room size, and hot breakfast.
• Elevators were slow and too few, more / larger common facility bathrooms.

“Excellent location for our purposes, close to FAMU and FSU. Good room size, nice hot breakfast, free parking, in the heart of the capitol.Nice size kitchen which includes a full size refrigerator and a dishwasher.”

• It was located in a tough part of town.

“The hotel itself was nice, actually very nice, just in an unsavory location. Also there was a hint of imposition from one of the employees at the front desk.”

• Wonderful suite style room, great decor, very clean and new.

“This is a new hotel within walking distance of the Capitol and FSU. Great breakfast buffet, good facilities and a friendly staff. We were very happy.”

• Kitchen in room, breakfast.
• First room we were sent to the bed was slept in and the room had not been clean, The staff was not friendly or helpful.

“Although I liked the kitchen in the room and the room was pleasant enough the bed was very hard, the staff was very rude. When the first room we got had a bed in it that was unmade and the room was not cleaned they didn't even apologize just said try this one. The breakfast was excellent so if the staff was more accommodating the experience would have been
much higher.”

“The hotel is attractive with great room layouts, however the beds were too hard and the location was in a shady part of town. The location was great as far as convenience to Florida State University, however it did not feel safe.”

• The room was fully equiped from bathroom to kitchen.
• The tub was not cleaned out properly.

“I really liked this hotel. I was right down the street from the college (FAMU), the breakfast was above standard, and the room was quite spacious and updated.”

• Very comfortable and impressive
  rooms. Staff was friendly. Location very close to FSU and capital.
• Hotel staff was friendly but were limited in their knowledge of the area.

“Hotel was very comfortable and suites were impressive. Bed was extremely comfortable with luxury level pillows and look. Staff was very friendly. Location is within 1.5 miles from FSU and Capitol. We experienced none of the problem with noise or sirens in the evenings. We were very pleased with the hotel and would highly recommend it to the business and family traveler.”

• The TV remote is very confusing ordered a movie by mistake & could not delete.

• Nice bed.
• Terrible street noise - we could not sleep, questionable neighborhood close to nothing.

“The hotel itself was okay. The bed was very comfy. However, we had only a small amount of toilet paper and tissues upon check-in with no back-up. I had to ask for some more items from the front desk and their closet was empty, so they had to send someone else up with them. The noise level was incredible. We were on the street side and unable to sleep. The insulation/windows must be incredibly cheap. I have never heard so much noise inside a hotel. Also, there were no carts for luggage when we checked in and we had to keep hauling our suitcases, etc over broken glass. The hotel is in an area that is very iffy. I felt like bottles were just broken as people passed through the parking lot as this was the case again the next am upon checkout. I also left some things in the bathroom and have called and have not received a phone call back. We wouldn't stay there again.”

• nicely decorated, nice workout room and warm fireplace in the lobby.
• Difficult entering the hotel from the street.

“This was a nicely decorated hotel. The room was extremely nice and well equipped with everything you would need. The workout room was friendly to use. We enjoyed the working fireplace in the lobby.”
