• All representations met or exceeded my expectations, the Priceline price was the best, and the value was well in excess of expectations.
• Parking arrangements were not fairly priced and the hotel was complicit in this arrangement and simply justified it by location.

“This hotel was among the best appearing I have encountered, particularly in Chicago. It is well located for a variety of pursuits, including those outside the downtown area. It is easy to find and the rooms and hotel appearance is basic yet extraordinary. I only had one pay and that was the parking cost for the garage across the street. Staff simply said that it was a good deal for downtown Chicago. I've seen (and found) much better. That part was a true rip off.”

• The bathroom was palacial. The tub was great, and the separate shower was great. They surprised us with chocolates because it was our wedding night.
• A chair next to the bed was positioned such that it was difficult to close a curtain and to reach a lamp switch.

“Our stay on our wedding night was beautiful and comfortable, but short. The best part was the amazing bathroom. We were upgraded to a "city view," but it was just the buildings across Michigan ave., not a panorama. I picked this hotel because it seemed to have plenty of stars for the lowest price I could find, and it was very very nice.”

• Location!
• No swimming pool.

“The room was elegant and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We dined on the outdoor terrace; the drinks were pricey, but our food was reasonably priced.”

“If you get a surprisingly good rate here it might be because they didn't have rest room for their wheelchair accessible room. It's still a beautiful room but if you wanted to soak in a tub it's a little disappointing. Also, the closet hanger bar is at waist level so a dress will bunch on the floor.”

• The linens were very nice and the bathroom
  was very clean.
• They said the hotel was booked and couldn't give us a king bed. I think they lied.

“We traveled with an infant. They were very accommodating with a crib and baby soaps. The linens were very nice and I felt comfortable walking barefoot in the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The mini-bar and rest. Bar

was very
much overpriced.”

• It was very close to shopping, theaters, restaurants.
• Would have liked a coffee pot in room.

• Very nice hotel, great location within walking distance from everything.
• The windows were not sound proof (horns and sirens), that’s all I could think of.

“I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chicago. The location is excellent, the staff was very helpful and the rooms were great. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance from the hotel. We can't wait to go back.”
