“This is a resort, not an hotel. 15$ resort fee per day charged in extra to the room. Located far from the center of Napa, difficult to enjoy restaurants and activities without the car. Hotel restaurant serves quality food. Although the hotel is recent and well appointed, the walls don't seem to be well insulated for noise as we could hear people in the corridor and rooms around.”

“Perfect hotel for those who want to be centrally located between Sonoma and Napa. The Concierge was both knowledgeable and experienced. He knew exactly where to and where not go. 5 minutes from downtown Napa with a free shuttle makes a safe enjoyable wine drinking night.”

“This resort is part of Shell Vacations and it is possible that you could buy a timeshare or something similar. Timeshares do not interest my husband or myself but it is certainly a beautiful property.”

“This is definitely not our opinion of a 4 star hotel. It is a very average property. We were not told that this is a time-share property. I had directly called the hotel and requested for a king bed. Upon check-in we had two doubles. The negative attitude of the staff started there. They didn't have any kings available (understandable) but then they did for $50 more. The desk clerk was very rude. The room was identical except for the beds. There is a large parking lot project going on (understandable) but when I asked if they could give us a quiet room, they were not pleasant. The whole vibe of the experience was negative. This hotel is out of the way of everything. It's more of a conference hotel. Lots of noisy children at the pool.”

“It was so big, it may be difficult for some to get back and forth to the lobby. But nice facility, and nice staff!”

“It's a timeshare not a hotel, room received was much smaller than advertised and not presented that way, $15 resort charge daily for 2 bottles of water, and use of pool, its not a resort, no robes, no baggage assistance - we weren't even asked, no turn - down, etc. Restaurant was extremely slow waited 15 minutes once sat for server, constantly people walking around selling. Not a resort, cant walk around it's in a business park shouldn't be lumped in with the other 4 stars it is put with.”

“Check-in with terrible, frustrating and disappointing. We walked away the first night upset, frustrated and terribly disappointed at the hotel. The second day my husband felt we were treated so unprofessional by the day manager that he returned to front desk and asked for assistant manager. This manager not only upgraded both rooms to what we believed we originally had but also gave both groups breakfast for 2 for the remaining 2 nights. His position was that if 1 of his employees told us we had king suite than that is what he should get. Furthermore, that he disagreed with the position his day manager took and apologized for the way she handled our reservations. I will be sending an email off to this assistant manager to express our gratitude for changing our opinion of this hotel's customer service. This was our third and last hotel on our trip to San Francisco and are happy we left happy and satisfied.”

“Nice place, location could be better, rooms were nice, $15 resort fee should be included in the room rate. Not tacked on at the time of checkout. Don't waste your time with the timeshare presentation unless you have nothing better to do with 2 hours of your time. The free gifts were nice.”

“Hotel staff was great. The food from restaurant and room service was excellent. The cave was cool too. The hotel felt nice but reminded me to much of some apartments in Roseville. It had the look of an expensive resort from far but up close seemed cheap and poorly constructed. It is definitely not the Fairmont. The prefab no personality resort was not as nice as it seemed in the pictures. The pool was nice as well as the hot tub. The only problem with pools these days is that they only make them 4 feet deep. Takes a way all the joy of swimming. This pool was only 4.5 feet deep.”

“The hotel was very nice and upscale. The surrounding area was not developed yet so you need to drive to get to shopping and dining.”

“Very pleasantly surprised at quality of hotel available at this price through Priceline. American Bar Association meeting was being held there and corporate jets flew overhead to neighboring Napa airport - felt like I was rich during my stay there!”

“This was not just a room - it was a beautiful, new condo with every amenity you could imagine including a beautiful bathroom, a balcony, completely equipped kitchen, fireplace, washer and dryer, etc. You could just live there in great comfort and luxury.”

“Very attractive facility with only real draw back was location South of Napa in a corporate park. Some special offers were available as part of a vacation club preview, but we did not partake. For the price great value.”

“While attempting to be an upscale resort, this property falls short in several ways. It is pleasant to look at but appearance does not mask the serious underlying problems. When we arrived at the first room we were assigned the counter and sink were full of dirty dishes, the bed was stripped of linen which was strewn across the floor. The second room appeared to have been cleaned but we found that many of the dishes were dirty, stained and cracked, the freshly laundered sheets had permanent stains. The use of space within the room was poor, like you were sleeping in the kitchen, and overall it was most unappealing and definitely not restful. Housekeeping service was not timely and took three calls and the room was not cleaned until 4:30 p.m. There are no towel racks nor soap dish in the bathroom and the room has no full-length mirror. The heater fan is very loud and the walls are so thin that we clearly heard everything going on in the adjacent rooms. We went there for a romantic getaway, and it fell very short of that goal, and certainly did not live up to the things you would normally expect from a 4-star resort.”

“If you want a sterile facility with an ugly surrounding, this is the place for you. Our room was okay. It was clean and functional but no personality and in an industrial park. I would not go back.”

“The hotel was attractive and the personnel very attentive. However, the outdoor hot tub was not well-maintained and the spa closed early that night. The staff did send someone out right away to clean the hot tub, though, after we called in.”

“Very nice but the rooms were adjoining like a Condo and you could hear everything from doors shutting to phones ringing, didn't feel very private.”

“We are very familiar with the Napa Valley and were pleasantly surprised with the ambiance of this hotel. The hotel is located at the southern end of the Valley but has easy access to all of the roads to the Napa and Sonoma wineries. The hotel had a quiet resort feel surrounded by a vineyard and wine cave.” Hotel Representatives:
