  • Location.
  • Remodeling going on.

“The hotel people were very nice. The rooms were clean. The only thing I did not like very much was the painting that was going on during our stay. The paint smell was very strong. $20 a day parking was not nice. The valet parking option was silly. It saves you from walking 20 feet. Loved the location. I would stay there again.”

  • The beds.
  • Original room assignment on floor with remodeling in progress.

“Parking is expensive but typical for the area. Front desk gave us a different room after placing us on a floor with painters, construction and wet paint everywhere. The housekeeping staff clogged the hallways with carts and the halls were already narrow. Location is good but traffic is horrendous. Walking distance to lots of places to see but one day was really hot so we took the bus. We will stay in Orange County next time, though we need to go to Westwood area.”

  • Flat screen TV.
  • Dirty towels, and welcome letter was the first thing
I noticed when we entered the room.

“They were doing construction in the rooms on the left and the right of us during our stay. It made our stay very unpleasant. We had to update our room keys daily, this was an inconvenience for us. The bathroom counter tops need to be replaced and the furniture was very out dated.”

  • The staff were great, they met all our needs, everyone at the hotel were friendly and made us feel special.
  • Double beds instead of Queen, but given the room size Queens would have made the room far too tight

“The hotel was OK, based on the area and other hotels around it was a good hotel and I am pleased with my choice. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. There were four adults in a room which worked well - would have preferred queen beds but not as bad as we thought. The air conditioning was loud and kept me awake one night, I couldn't block it out. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the hotel, location and the price and the service.”

  • Basic hotel, that is good for a short stay in Hollywood.
  • Room was clean but furnishings were a bit old.

“Overall, the hotel was clean and in a good location. It offered a good value but is probably best only for a short stay.”

“I would recommend this hotel. It was excellent.”

  • Excellent central location in Hollywood and clean
  • Construction in the room next door in the early morning and unfriendly service with Paid parking??

“The staff was pretentiously friendly and "treated" us like we were Priceline clients. They put us in a room that was extremely noisy and later told us we would have to complain to Priceline if we wanted any compensation. It was the first time I had ever paid for parking at a hotel. It was not a good experience for myself or my girlfriend.”

  • The hotel was within walking distance to Hollywood Blvd.
  • The elevator was too slow.

“The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms and pool area were very clean.”

“Our overall experience was fantastic, the staff was very nice and helpful.”

  • I'm glad I booked using priceline and didn't have to pay full price.
  • Parking cost too high. Hotel staff was not as friendly as I would have expected.

“I expected more for a 3 star hotel.”

  • Close to downtown Hollywood.
  • Staff was not friendly, rooms were not 3 star, hotel was a little dirty.

“If this hotel was rated correctly (2 stars) I would have liked it. The room was dirty, the staff unfriendly. Adding a few nice Hollywood pictures to the lobby was a nice touch, but could not make up for the negative vibe.”

  • Service was great. Very friendly staff.
  • Had to change rooms because the first room we were in had wet carpet.

“Overall very satisfied with my stay.”

  • Location.
  • $20/day parking charge.

“The hotel had a 60s sort of feel, but had not been perfectly maintained over the years. The elevators were worn and had not recently been vacuumed. The public spaces were relatively small and corridors seemed dingy and dated. The room itself was clean and well maintained, though it had a lingering unpleasant hint of some air freshener. Staff were friendly and courteous. My room service hamburger was fresh and well prepared, though a little pricey at $14. I was reasonably satisfied with this property at the Priceline discount, but know I can do much better with some the chains for only a little more per night.”

  • Bed was extremely comfortable.
  • Fixtures were cheap and falling apart.

“It more than met my expectations, and way quite comfy, and easy access to shopping.”

  • Staff was amazing, super friendly & courteous.
  • Pool was not heated as
I believed it would be for my kids.

“The staff was the most friendly, professional, helpful & courteous staff at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Everyone from the front staff to valet to housekeeping, we were extremely and pleasantly surprised at the superior customer service. Room was very nice and very clean.”

  • Cleanliness, location and attentiveness of hotel staff.
  • Twenty dollars a day to park your car.

“The hotel room was clean which is number with me. The outside of the hotel was also well maintained.”

  • Location.
  • Lack of control of the patrons. People were out of control and dangerously impaired.

“This was a horrible experience. We felt fearful in our room. The stairwell was down the hall and partiers used it all night long. They were so loud it was impossible to sleep. The room next to us had people partying. They kept banging on our door, trying to open it, and banging on the walls in their room. They leave and come back. They were extremely loud. Someone pulled the fire alarm between 6 and 7 in the morning.”

  • Room was large and had a couch with pull out bed.
  • Parking was available but it was $20 a day!

“Friendly staff and good sized rooms. Fit 3+ people in a room with a King Size bed because of the couch that had a pull out bed.”

  • The beds were very comfortable.
  • There is only one couch in the lobby.

“I was a little taken aback by the sparseness of the lobby...there was one small sofa to sit on. The restaurant and bar were being remodeled and the place smelled like construction chemicals.”
