“The hotel people were very nice. The rooms were clean. The only thing I did not like very much was the painting that was going on during our stay. The paint smell was very strong. $20 a day parking was not nice. The valet parking option was silly. It saves you from walking 20 feet. Loved the location. I would stay there again.”

“Parking is expensive but typical for the area. Front desk gave us a different room after placing us on a floor with painters, construction and wet paint everywhere. The housekeeping staff clogged the hallways with carts and the halls were already narrow. Location is good but traffic is horrendous. Walking distance to lots of places to see but one day was really hot so we took the bus. We will stay in Orange County next time, though we need to go to Westwood area.”

“They were doing construction in the rooms on the left and the right of us during our stay. It made our stay very unpleasant. We had to update our room keys daily, this was an inconvenience for us. The bathroom counter tops need to be replaced and the furniture was very out dated.”

“The hotel was OK, based on the area and other hotels around it was a good hotel and I am pleased with my choice. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. There were four adults in a room which worked well - would have preferred queen beds but not as bad as we thought. The air conditioning was loud and kept me awake one night, I couldn't block it out. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the hotel, location and the price and the service.”

“Overall, the hotel was clean and in a good location. It offered a good value but is probably best only for a short stay.”

“The staff was pretentiously friendly and "treated" us like we were Priceline clients. They put us in a room that was extremely noisy and later told us we would have to complain to Priceline if we wanted any compensation. It was the first time I had ever paid for parking at a hotel. It was not a good experience for myself or my girlfriend.”

“If this hotel was rated correctly (2 stars) I would have liked it. The room was dirty, the staff unfriendly. Adding a few nice Hollywood pictures to the lobby was a nice touch, but could not make up for the negative vibe.”

“The hotel had a 60s sort of feel, but had not been perfectly maintained over the years. The elevators were worn and had not recently been vacuumed. The public spaces were relatively small and corridors seemed dingy and dated. The room itself was clean and well maintained, though it had a lingering unpleasant hint of some air freshener. Staff were friendly and courteous. My room service hamburger was fresh and well prepared, though a little pricey at $14. I was reasonably satisfied with this property at the Priceline discount, but know I can do much better with some the chains for only a little more per night.”

“The staff was the most friendly, professional, helpful & courteous staff at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Everyone from the front staff to valet to housekeeping, we were extremely and pleasantly surprised at the superior customer service. Room was very nice and very clean.”

“The hotel room was clean which is number with me. The outside of the hotel was also well maintained.”

“This was a horrible experience. We felt fearful in our room. The stairwell was down the hall and partiers used it all night long. They were so loud it was impossible to sleep. The room next to us had people partying. They kept banging on our door, trying to open it, and banging on the walls in their room. They leave and come back. They were extremely loud. Someone pulled the fire alarm between 6 and 7 in the morning.”

“Friendly staff and good sized rooms. Fit 3+ people in a room with a King Size bed because of the couch that had a pull out bed.”

“I was a little taken aback by the sparseness of the lobby...there was one small sofa to sit on. The restaurant and bar were being remodeled and the place smelled like construction chemicals.” Hotel Representatives:
