“Probably nicest hotel on Cannery Row. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is right on Monterey Bay and in the heart of the action, next to the Aquarium. Rooms including bedding and bathrooms were luxurious.”

“The hotel advertizes itself as "with aview of the ocean." Our room didn't.”

“This hotel is new, beautiful and right on the ocean. It has wonderful areas to sit and watch the ocean and to get drinks. It has fire pits on the patio.”

“My wife and I arrived for the first night of our honeymoon and were treated like royalty! We only booked one night, and wished we had stayed longer. We were given a generous upgrade to a ocean view room with a fireplace, and the room was nothing short of amazing. Fifteen minutes after arriving, we heard a knock on the door and were surprised by a cold bottle of champagne complemented by chocolate covered strawberries, courtesy of the concierge. We literally couldn't believe how far he had gone to make our honeymoon memorable. Big recommendation to this place for honeymooners. We named our own price and won this bid. Valet parking is only $20, no sense in searching for something cheaper. Local dining is also great, but can be pricey.”

“Rooms were large, well appointed with very nice linens. Bed was very comfortable. Great location to walk to dinner or coffee at Starbucks across street. Right on the bay, great place to have evening cocktail and watch sunset.”

“Overall, the hotel is very nice. It is furnished with modern furniture throughout. The bed was very comfortable and featured a white down comforter with soft sheets and pillows. The view of the ocean from the hotel's main balcony area was wonderful. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the appetizer menu from there. The valet parking was very convenient and the staff worked hard to please.”

“We were immediately impressed and continued to be so throughout our stay. Quite surprisingly, we didn't notice any disadvantage to booking the room on Priceline, specifically, our room was located in the main building, on the bay side of the street, and our room was well located, not on the street or above a service alley. On the first morning, the power was out throughout the city but they had emergency generators running so that we didn't know of the outage. When we went downstairs for breakfast, we learned of the power outage and they informed us that they couldn't prepare full breakfasts but they provided continental-style breakfast to all guests for free (not a normal practice). On our last day, we checked out at 11:00 only to find that the hotel restaurant was closed between 11:00 and 11:30 in order to transition to the lunch menu (somewhat odd and annoying) but they reopened the kitchen and fixed us breakfast. They also let me back into the business center after we had checked out so that I could print a contract from my attorney, and one of the desk clerks went downstairs and faxed the signed contract, even providing the fax confirmation. Normally we stay at 3-star hotels but we were very pleased with the 4-star treatment.”

“This hotel was beautiful and in a great location. The staff was all very nice and accommodating. The room was extremely comfortable and the only negative was that the bed and pillows were a little too soft for our taste.”

“We had a great time. Hotel staff are friendly, location can't be beat, bed/room clean and very comfortable. Due to location, there are a lot of children around. Just for your information, the pool is simply a one-lane lap pool not a leisure hangout in itself (though the hot tub was a hangout). I loved it because I swim for fitness. Perfect for me.”

“Nice hotel in good location; however, there was a significantly higher charge for an Ocean View room with balcony, that turned out to be a view that you had to stand in a particular spot to see from a one foot wide steel balcony. Our first room had a view of the faux corrugated tin wall of the Bubba Gump Shrimp company. After complaining we were given a room in a slightly better location up one floor. Had we known that Ocean View meant that you have to take turns standing in the correct spot to see it we would have saved ourselves the extra $125 per night and stayed in the lower priced room.”

“The room was large and very nice. Great bed. The fire pits on back deck overlooking ocean were a great place for evening drink or coffee.”

“We planned on staying only one night but added on because we loved it so much. Only complaint is one side of the hotel is close to the building next to it and gets very little light. They were happy enough to move us. The other side is much better. The second floor has much higher ceilings, so request it if available. Really great hotel, excellent service. My highest recommendation.”

“This hotel was wonderful. Comfy beds and super quiet rooms. We had a less expensive room that faced the great public foot path. The public Deck was wonderful looking out on the ocean with outdoor fire pits and heat.”

“Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was very nice. Fireplace and a balcony that we could see the ocean from. Hopefully we will be able to go back next year.”

Tauna from Simi Valley,CA “This was a wonderful hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They make things very easy for you from express check-in, holding our bags and parking the car. The room was gorgeous with bright sunny spaces, goose down pillows and comforters, flat panel televisions and a full-size bath. You never want to leave your room!” Hotel Representatives:
