“The rooms were on the small side, but all the comforts were there. We loved that it had all the charm of an old St. Louis hotel (high ceilings, crown moldings, etc) but had been renovated in such a way the kept the character of the building while having all the comforts of today. The young lady that checked us in went out of her way to be helpful to us and the valet attendant was super courteous. The training of the employees for professionalism is excellent.”

“I'm never impressed with a hotel that attempts to pawn off their less desirable rooms hoping the guest won't complain. In my case, I was given a second floor room right next to an exhaust vent that produced a constant, loud, annoying drone. When I complained they changed the room, moving me up two floors but still near the vent. The noise was less, and then I just gave up. The hotel seemed to not have been overbooked, since I barely saw anyone in the hallways or common areas.”

“Staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a nice gym. There was a Jacuzzi that did not appear clean. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bed was comfortable. There was a considerable charge for parking.”

“We had a late check-in so the restaurant was closed. The front deck was more than happy to give us local restaurants to call for delivery to our hotel. the room was beautiful. Great view of the arch. Perfect location to all attractions.”

“Hilton downtown is an outstanding property. Rooms are very nice and the location is great. Just a few blocks from the stadiums, the Arch, Laclede's Landing. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Good sized bathroom, view was terrible. Brick wall would not have made for a romantic setting! Lobby (bar) was loud and smoky. Valet parking was $25 which certainly ups the overeall price to stay.”

“This hotel is luxurious and clean. It offers a 24 hour gift shop, and a 24 hour business center from which guests can access the internet and use a printer for Map Quests and boarding passes. There is a restaurant on-site which I did not visit. The bar service was excellent, and I was able to bring my drink to the Business Center as I made tour plans. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the MetroLink which would get you to the Stadium or to Union Station.”

“The hotel was fine we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. The room was small and the bathroom door opened the into the room and blocked the little hallway. Not a good set up for younger children. The parking was expensive.”

“The hotel is fine. I won't go there again because the rooms were too small and the bathroom was really tiny. I was disappointed that there were broken things in the room. Our maid wasn't very good, she missed many details of maintaining our room.”

“This a in a great location. The room was big, and so was the bathroom. You get two free bottles of water in your room, and great Lavazza coffee too. There is a large flat screen TV, great bedding and pictures as well. One of the nicer hotels that I have stayed in.”

“While the hotel is at a good to great location, it lacks some fairly sought amenities for travelers. There is no pool, A/C and elevator noise levels were high and a/c was not in good working order. Late arrival did not leave much time to make changes. Location was great, stay could have been better. Staff was good. Priceline price was OK.”

“This is a wonderful hotel especially for the money I paid on Priceline. I have gotten this hotel three different times on Priceline and have always been satisfied overall. Their valet and bell service is somewhat disorganized at check in but besides that it's well worth the stay.”
