• The location.
• Unresponsive management and staff.

“I was not pleased with this hotel as I was charged for a bar tab when I never stepped foot in the bar. I have now been trying to get my refund for the past 10 days when it was confirmed 5 days ago the credit has been issued. Overall I have not been pleased. You get better service at a motel 6.”

• This is the quietest hotel we have ever had the pleasure to sleep in.
• We were completely satisfied.

“The hotel is beautiful and the room was well appointed. All staff members that we encountered were polite, knowledgeable and helpful. We did not eat in the hotel, but did have drinks in the bar which was small, but comfortable. The hotel was unbelievably quiet at night and in the morning.”

• The Priceline price was superb for the quality of the hotel.
• Called twice to verify that cot would be provided, told at check-in that cot is never allowed in a double.

“Fine for business travelers, but in a dull area of downtown Dallas so probably not a place I would recommend for a romantic getaway or people visiting the city for leisure. Fairly far from the new Cowboys stadium and ballpark at Arlington so also not recommended for fans. There is a shuttle available for cowboys games but at $25 per person, it's actually more expensive and less convenient than getting gouged for parking closer to the stadium. (And the shuttle was apparently 45 minutes late for pickup after the first game of the season.) Don't ask for a cot to be added to a double room. We called twice to verify that a cot would be available for our room and were assured both times that one would be. However we were informed at check-in that a cot in a double room was considered a fire hazard and was never allowed. I don't have a problem with the rule but let me know up when I first ask so I can book accordingly.”

• Deluxe room with big TV and excellent bathroom commodities/set-up.
• Wish my room looked outside instead of into middle of hotel.

“No cheap parking in the area - as in Valet was $20+ and garage charged a ridiculous overnight fee plus in and out fees. Nice hotel with friendly staff and ideal location”

• The bed allowed for a great nights sleep, and the shower was refreshing.

• Staff was pretty courteous.
• No affordable parking and car is needed, not close to attractions to walk by. The housekeeping staff does not speak English

• Beds were comfortable, room was clean and a great shower head.
• The restaurants that were with in walking distance were closed on the weekends.

“The hotel was easy access to the Dallas Convention center by using the train. We used the valet parking they were very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful in getting us to the Convention Center. The only negative were the lack of food places that were available on the weekend. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant Sunday morning and it was not very good. The eggs were not very tasty and the bacon was over cooked. The selection of food for the price was not worth it.”

“This was a very nice hotel. The staff was fast and friendly. Valet parking was worth the money. A very nice room. The only negative was the noise level from outside.”

• Extremely comfortable bed and very helpful front desk and concierge.
• Odd shower head.

“The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and quite helpful. We would certainly stay here again. The room was simple but quite nice and very comfortable. I slept like a log.”

• Good location to Dallas Museum of Art.
• Not kid-friendly. Supposed to have a kid package - did not have any available.

“The location is great for trips to the museums and there is a skating rink inside, which was wonderful for the kids. However, the hotel did not have a pool, or a hot tub. Plus, they advertise a kid adventure package, but they were out of these and had no idea when they would get any more in. Staff working in shop inside hotel was unfriendly. But, the hotel staff was helpful and kind.”

• Clean close to were the event I was attending was.
• Housekeeping service was awful, housekeeping did not knock before entering room.

“I thought The Westin was inferior to other Westin's that I have stayed at before. The housekeeping staff entered our room without knocking and did not do a complete job when they made up the room. Example missing towels, coffee and cups etc.”
