• Access to the workout facilities/pool was nice. Great workout!
• The hot tub was a little dirty.

“Tallest building in Virginia. Stayed on the 12th floor. Beautiful, comfortable king sized bed. Quiet and cold AC.”

• View of area ,large windows in room.
• Cost for internet excessive,ac controls,no vending.

• The bed linens were wonderful.
• Room service was a little slow.

“The Westin was very nice and quiet, yet close to many eating establishments / shopping and located in a safe area. The beds and bed linens were simply divine - super soft and luxurious. The restaurant was very accommodating and served decent food, although it was a little pricey.”

• It is a nice, clean hotel.
• They claim to be a five-star but this is not five-star except the $20 they want for breakfast.

“The hotel is nice but far from luxury. No bell-hops. No luggage carts. Nothing in the room to tell you about what the hotel has to offer. I would give it 4 stars and nothing more.”

• Very pretty atrium.
• Lousy, lousy service.

“This hotel was very nice looking and has the potential to be an excellent hotel. However, the service from the staff blows big time. I had to remind them 4 times that I needed hand towels and wash clothes to no avail. There was a coffee stain on the floor that was there before we got there. I asked for it to be cleaned, it never was. To top it all off, they tried to charge me for the complimentary water!”

• The location was great walking distance to everything.
• Unresponsive staff (12 hours to get a remote for TV).

• The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Both were in easy walking distance.
• There was a charge for wireless service and business .office services..The room was dusty.

• Excellent overall service and privacy.
• poor quality of food/breakfast received through room service.

“This hotel offered overall excellent services. Rooms and facilities were kept clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly, helpful, prompt to answer any questions and provide information about the area, etc. Rooms were comfortable and private. My only regret was that the hotel was not located within walking distance from the beach as I enjoyed spending more time at the beach.”

“This is a nice new hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful and our room was very comfortable. My only gripe is that our window was terribly dirty. Not a huge deal, but it does impact your experience and impression of the hotel. Overall though, I would highly recommend this hotel.”

• The beds were very comfortable with great pillows.
• More care needed in cleaning.

“This is a very beautiful hotel - only 1 year old. The only complaint I have is lack of maintenance. The backing on the faucet in the bathroom was not secured. The main issue was the fact that we found 2 false eyelashes on the carpet and other debris from the prior guests. We stayed 2 nights, and the lint was still on the carpet the 2nd day. (We threw the eyelashes away). The tiles in the bathroom also needed to be cleaned-they had a dusty film on them.”

• The location and amenities were excellent.
• The bath tub drained very slowly and I told the hotel personel five times and still wasn't fixed by the time we left.

“Very nice hotel clean and upscale. The only problem I had was the bath tub drained very slowly so much so that after a very short shower you were standing in dirty bath water two inches deep. I asked that the problem be fixed five times and was never fixed by the time we left. The staff was friendly even though they were forgetful.”

• Clean, nice bathroom, good internet connectivity.
• Several of the lamps in the room did not work.

“Very nice, clean, fairly high-level of service and attentiveness from the staff. Parking is easy, with a free garage (municipal) attached right to the hotel. Good restaurant in the hotel, with a
lot of good placed situated with nearby, within walking distance.”
