• The staff at the restaurant of the hotel was excellent!
• Other than the restaurant, it was the worst experience of hotel stay I have ever encountered.

“On a scale of 10 with 10 being the best I give it a 2. With the 2 going to the staff of the restaurant. The cleaning staff left trash in my room and the the room in general was just too small.”

• Clean, good location, friendly staff.
• Only 2 elevators - were extremely slow. Small room, small lobby.

“Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. The room was pretty small, there was no fridge or microwave, the lobby was pretty crammed, and the elevators were very slow. That said, the location was great, the staff was extremely friendly, the rooms were clean and quiet and it was a very comfortable stay.”

• Location was great.
• Some guests inside the hotel were very noise(3:00am) and the front desk couldn't seem to control them.

“Besides the noisey guest issue the rest of the stay was great! The rooms are a little small but clean and comfortable.”

• The price through priceline was excellent.
• The rooms were very small, but adequately furnished.

• Room service.
• Did not sleep well. Room near elevator.

“The attendant that checked me in was extremely rude. He verified my information with a scowl and pretty much threw my creditcard abd driver's license on to the desk. What made matters worse is that I checked in primarily for some quiet and a decent night's sleep. I got neither! Other than that, I am familair with Chelsea.”

• Good location, outstanding staff, nice rooms!
• Not much except the rooms are smallish as expected.

“A new hotel with very nice modern rooms. As with all NYC hotels, the rooms are smallish but quite comfortable. My room had nice twin beds, super linens and pillows, a very nice desk area with free wi-fi and a excellent flat screen TV. No complaints from me and I will stay there again.”

• Very clean and attractive room.
• Heat was a problem, no towels. Towels came within minutes of a call. Turned thermo up to 80 before room was warm.

“The lobby is tiny and crowded with people and stuff, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and quite nice, large TV, well decorated, with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, coffeemaker, ergo chair, etc.”

• I enjoyed the location, it was only several blocks from most of the major attractions.

• I was very impressed with this hotel.
• The room was a little smaller than normative but I kind of expected that for a hotel in NYC. Not great for more than 2 people.

“Overall, the room was clean as was the lobby. I didn't appreciate being placed so close the elevator but thankfully, we heard nothing. Also, we were supposed to get a non-smoking room but could tell that smoking had been done in that room. We decided it wasn't worth unpacking to switch rooms.”

• Location, price, clean, national reputation and great staff.
• Small bathroom, and loud air ventilator in hall.

“The room was just what I needed for this trip, clean, modern, and air worked good. Staff was friendly and seemed to care about my needs. Front desk was both well informed and well trained. I made a quick morning sightseeing run and shopping trip when I returned to drop off the things (before 10 am), the room had already been cleaned.”

• The staff was friendly.
• Room was a bit cramped.

“Over all I was extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant food was phenomenal. The only draw back was the size of the room. It was really too small of a room to accommodate a king size bed. All in all it was great in Manhattan.”

• Very clean and bright and very friendly and helpful staff.
• Nothing to really admit.

“Hotel was centrally located in Chelsea and was close to restaurants. The subway was a few blocks away, but it wasn't unbearable. The room had been updated and featured an amazingly comfortable bed, your choice of firm or soft pillows, flat screen TV, and a beautiful view of the city.”
