  • Price.
  • A little far from the hospital.

“Clean, comfy, and did the job for the price.”

  • Location to HSBC arena.
  • Noise from hallway.

“Hotel is okay. It is older but reasonably clean and looked after. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I was attending another event at the HSBC Center I would stay there again.”

  • Great location.
  • Dirty and moldy.

“You know it has a great location and friendly staff but the rooms are shabby and the bathrooms is disgusting. My bathroom was full of mold. The carpet in the room was dirty. What more can I say.”

  • Awesome entry way and ballroom. Location was convenient to business travel purpose.
  • I thought the food prices were high.

“While the lobby gives the impression of ultra-glitz, I thought the room was average for the level the hotel was supposed to be. Prices for parking and food were high. The room was comfortable, and convenient to the convention we attended. We were disappointed the hotel did not offer complimentary continental breakfast to guests, since that is usually typical of this level of hotel. I also did not see a lot of handicapped accommodations, particularly for conference attendees.”

  • Nice staff.
  • Mixing college students with hotel guests can cause problems.

“We stayed for 3 nights at the Adams Mark Hotel. Our first night we had an encounter with the room adjacent to ours. As soon as we checked into our room 4th floor we heard noise coming from the room across. There was a party going on and it was 11:30pm. We immediately called the front desk to complain and soon we heard security knocking on the door adjacent to ours. Apparently, security knew the party and told them that there are complaints of the noise that they were making. The party had asked who complained? As the security shared that bit of information with the other party, we were victims of harassment our hotel room door was spat on and the noise increased. We demanded to be moved to another floor. The next two days of our stay was much better, but we later learned that the Adams Mark has made an agreement to allow the local college students to use several rooms/floors as their college was renovating their dorms. The staff was very sympathetic and apologized, however some weren't aware that the hotel had arranged with the local college. The manager was very helpful and moved my wife and I to a nicer room on the 9th floor. This left a very bad impression of the hotel and how it runs their business.”

  • Freindly staff.
  • College students were occupying floors, some students were very loud and rambunctious!

“At the time of our stay, we learned that the Hotel allows the local college students to stay in their rooms while their college is completing their dorm rooms, however we had a very bad experience with some of their college student patrons. We were placed adjacent to a party. We complained about noise the first 30 minutes of our stay. The security later talked to the party making noise and disclosed to them who complained. As security compromised our confidentiality. We were faced with harassment that first let us with a very bad first impression. The students were very disrespectful and rude. This was not a good first impression. The day supervisor later comp'd our breakfast and parking. The staff was very sympathetic and apologized, but I would not recommend to any one.”

  • The room was good size.
  • Beds are soft and lumpy.

“We did not like sleeping in a bed not knowing who had slept in it during the other 2 days that they do not wash the linens, there was no fan in the bathroom. The hooks to hang towels, clothes, etc. were so high you had to be 10 ft tall to use them. Towels were scratchy. TV was old and hard to use, there were no instructions.”

  • The hotel is located in the heart of buffalo, and it is close to niagara falls too.

“I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews about this hotel and cleanliness. I felt I made a mistake in booking by pricelne. I was really shocked to see the friendly nature of the reception and a quick check in(5 min). The rooms were clean and decent size since I requested for Executive rooms at the top floor. You cant beat that at the price I paid. The pool was clean and u can access only with your room key and it was very secure and private.”

  • The lobby is a large empty space not chairs, hallways smell damp and mildewed

“While the rooms were redone in the last few years, this adams mark smells like an old holiday inn, a mix of mildew and disinfectant. The help are very nice people, though not terribly professional or apparently well trained, they work hard to satisfy, so the somewhat clumsiness is complete forgiven. The hotel is very accessible by car but not within walking distance of any place to eat or otherwise. I was told this is a very good hotel by buffalo standards, if so, pity buffalo.”

  • Lobby seems to be big but nothing much to say other than that.
  • Did not help us to even microwave child food, had to give it cold to the child.

“The rooms are old and outdated, cobwebs in a couple of places and paints peeled off, need updating. The bathroom was so tiny hardly two people can stand in there at one time. There was no body lotion which I had to ask but was given after I asked. Location is good, you can walk in 2 miles radius for most downtown activities. I asked for a food to be heated at the common microwave and was told to come down only to find out it's against their policy, two people at the same hotel says two different things about their policy, very weird, parking is extra $10 each night - not good policy again. Worst is my dad-in-law woke us all up at 1.00 AM with the wildest shriek I have ever heard claiming he saw spirit walking around and it was pressing on his chest - don't know if he really saw one but it was intense, he was sweating like just out of shower. I didn't sleep the whole night after that and luckily it was our last night there. Carpets are older. Nothing very positive to say and remember about the stay there.”

  • You can't find microwave in room as well as in dining area. It's big issue if you have kids & want to heat-up milk for them.

“Room is good, staff is friendly. Only thing due to which I was so disturb is microwave. No microwave in room as well as in dining area. My kids has to take cold milk even though they are not use to with that.”

  • Nice location.
  • Terrible customer service. Not informed of parking charges when checking in.

“They charge ten dollars a day to park in hotel lot. Treated us poorly when we told them we were not informed of the charge when checking in. Told us there was nothing they could do because it was a independent lot connected to the hotel. Then told us it was our fault for not seeing the signs. There is no where to park in that area other then that lot. Terrible customer service.”

“The hotel was big but rooms were very dated. Bathtub was clogging. Lamp and clock were there but not plugged and no plug in sight. We could hear people talk somewhere outside the room even late at night. Front desk staff did not seem welcoming. The hotel was highly overpriced for the facilities and condition of the rooms it provided.”
