“Except for not having drawer space for clothing, there was nothing else we wanted. This was a fantastic and clean hotel room with lots of room. To top it off, we were given a corner room on the 8th floor overlooking the arch on the east and the old court house on the south. We couldn't imagine a nicer location or a better room.”

“While the hotel itself was nice, it was a complete maze. Also, with only one place to get ice on a floor, it took 8 minutes to wind my way around the labrynth just to find an ice machine.”

“Check-in staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The Ruth's Chris steakhouse on site at the hotel was excellent. Perfect stay for a night away from the kids.”

“This place is OK. Not a four star place, but got a good deal. Decor is questionable and inconsistent. But it was very clean comfortable. Great location right next to the arch.”

“This hotel is next to the Arch and other Downtown attractions such as the parks and stadiums. The hotel rooms are extremely comfortable. Multiple restaurants are available for your dining pleasure, but quite overpriced. Hotel staff is friendly, but slow. Valet parking is $25 a night.”

“Almost every room had a view of the Arch. The bathroom was modern. Although the room was small, it was furnished nicely. The MAJOR drawback to staying at this hotel was additional charge for Internet connectivity, which is crucial to business travelers.”

“Wonderful hotel at a great location....good staff except the front desk staff or serving as concierge too..does not work at all. Check-in a little awkward. I needed late check-in...called to let them know....however when I got there, it had been canceled; and they had to reinstate it. Front desk staff is the weak link of the whole experience.”

“I was very happy with the hotel in downtown St. Louis. The hotel was recently remodeled- It was a nice upscale hotel to spend time in. The staff was very friendly- seemed to go above and beyond.”

“Great hotel with friendly service. Located literally feet from the Arch! Great location and awesome restaurants on site. Again, I just can't wrap my mind around the reason for charging $19 to park. It's one of those things that people do because it's a 4 star hotel and they know they can. It seems a little irresponsible in this economy.”

“I would not recommend this hotel due to the rudeness of the front desk staff. They were not helpful and had an attitude as if it was a problem to take care of the customers. There was no parking for hotel guests. There was a ball game so if a hotel guest wanted to park at the hotel, your out of luck. The room smelled bad after the maid cleaned it - smelled like soured water. I would suggest staying across the street at the Hilton where you can park at the hotel (even when there is a game) and be treated kindly by all of the staff.”
