  • We had a great experience with this stay. We loved it.
  • The room didn't have any drawer space for clothing. Parking was expensive.

“Except for not having drawer space for clothing, there was nothing else we wanted. This was a fantastic and clean hotel room with lots of room. To top it off, we were given a corner room on the 8th floor overlooking the arch on the east and the old court house on the south. We couldn't imagine a nicer location or a better room.”

  • Mirror in front of the bed.
  • Neverending maze... ice machine way too far from room.

“While the hotel itself was nice, it was a complete maze. Also, with only one place to get ice on a floor, it took 8 minutes to wind my way around the labrynth just to find an ice machine.”

  • Very nice, clean, modern very happy with everything.

“Check-in staff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The Ruth's Chris steakhouse on site at the hotel was excellent. Perfect stay for a night away from the kids.”

  • Clean.
  • Parking is expensive, if it's even available.

“This place is OK. Not a four star place, but got a good deal. Decor is questionable and inconsistent. But it was very clean comfortable. Great location right next to the arch.”

  • Extremely comfortable beds / rooms in general.
  • Hotel staff slow and restaurants were over priced.

“This hotel is next to the Arch and other Downtown attractions such as the parks and stadiums. The hotel rooms are extremely comfortable. Multiple restaurants are available for your dining pleasure, but quite overpriced. Hotel staff is friendly, but slow. Valet parking is $25 a night.”

  • Location of my room.

“Hotel itself was good from top to bottom.”

  • Almost every room had a view of the Arch.
  • Internet was an additional charge.

“Almost every room had a view of the Arch. The bathroom was modern. Although the room was small, it was furnished nicely. The MAJOR drawback to staying at this hotel was additional charge for Internet connectivity, which is crucial to business travelers.”

  • Absolutely beautiful, Great food at very reasonable prices, friendly staff.
  • Front desk being used as concierge...not good at it and don't have time to do it.

“Wonderful hotel at a great location....good staff except the front desk staff or serving as concierge too..does not work at all. Check-in a little awkward. I needed late check-in...called to let them know....however when I got there, it had been canceled; and they had to reinstate it. Front desk staff is the weak link of the whole experience.”

  • Great hotel - definitely a good place to stay in downtown St. Louis.

“I was very happy with the hotel in downtown St. Louis. The hotel was recently remodeled- It was a nice upscale hotel to spend time in. The staff was very friendly- seemed to go above and beyond.”

  • 3 restaurants inside the hotel and they were all good.
  • Parking was $19 a night.

“Great hotel with friendly service. Located literally feet from the Arch! Great location and awesome restaurants on site. Again, I just can't wrap my mind around the reason for charging $19 to park. It's one of those things that people do because it's a 4 star hotel and they know they can. It seems a little irresponsible in this economy.”

  • The front desk staff was very rude, no parking and the room smelled like soured water after the maid cleaned it.

“I would not recommend this hotel due to the rudeness of the front desk staff. They were not helpful and had an attitude as if it was a problem to take care of the customers. There was no parking for hotel guests. There was a ball game so if a hotel guest wanted to park at the hotel, your out of luck. The room smelled bad after the maid cleaned it - smelled like soured water. I would suggest staying across the street at the Hilton where you can park at the hotel (even when there is a game) and be treated kindly by all of the staff.”
