“Not a 3.5 start hotel. The room was small. the bellman were pushy (do you need a cab (and give me a tip) do you need to store your things (and give me a tip) Let me get the door for you (and give me a tip)The housekeeping was good but came very late one day. I left at 11:00am and returned at 4:00 and the room had not been made up. A wall plate electrical cover was missing next to the sink.”

“I would stay at the Tudor again. It was as nice as some 4 star hotels. Maybe nicer. I enjoyed the location, even though I usually prefer the upper east side area.”

“The rooms were a very nice size for New York city. The rooms had been recently renovated. Very clean, friendly staff. The bed was comfortable with great pillows and linen. Very secure, especially with the UN Summit right down the street.”

“Was better than I expected, was made to feel welcome and felt very safe. I would definitely choose Priceline and the Tudor hotel for my future travel needs.”

“Friendly, helpful check-in staff. Room was quite small but made good use of space. Appeared to have just been renovated. Everything was new and in excellent condition.”

“The Tudor is a good, affordable hotel for NYC travel. The staff is friendlier than most NY hotels. The location requires more walking than some may prefer, but the bus stop in front of the hotel is a very easy alternative for transportation. The room was clean and well-equiped with new flat screen TV.”

“We liked the hotel location and staff. The rooms were updated and nice looking, but small. We would probably stay there again, but it was not as positive an experience as it could be if all the fixtures worked.”

“All in all, the hotel was fine for what we needed - a room to stay overnight in the city. It was fairly priced but when our tub did not drain and the lockbox broke, we were annoyed. The room was small, not good for families. No place to keep luggage. The staff was nice and helpful but the bellboy gave us attitude when we were checking out for not giving a tip before we even had a chance to give him a tip. That ticked me off and ruined my experience at the hotel. I have patience for room malfunctions but not unnecessarily rude behavior from staff.”

“My husband and I arrived at 1:30pm and were able to check in early even though check-in was not until 3pm. The room was very clean and well kept with a flat screen TV and normal hotel amenities. The bed was comfy, not too hard, and the pillows were by far the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on. My husband and I will definitely stay here again on future visits to the city not only for the friendly service and cleanliness of the hotel but also because of it's excellent location.”

“This hotel is conveniently located 3 blocks from Grand Central terminal and is close to shopping and eating. It was clean and our room was large. As a bonus, we had a terrace where we enjoyed our morning coffee! The hallways are a little tight, but the room was well worth the price!”

“The hotel was clean and in a good part of town. We were unsure of where to park when we arrived to unload. There is no good place to get off of the road and with smaller children that was a concern. Also the parking garage is a bit away from hotel.”

“Overall the hotel was nice. Older then it looks in the pictures. We showed up at 2 when the check in time was 3. We were not allowed to check in early and the staff at the time was not friendly or helpful. When we returned later in the day the staff had switched over and where much nicer.”

“The hotel was in a terrific location. Restaurants, shopping, deli's, surrounded the hotel. It was in a very safe location. The staff was wonderful (the doorman even gave us his own umbrella to get to our car). We were early for checkin, but the staff made it possible for us to have a room to put our belongings. Everything in the hotel looked new!”

“Hotel is in a suitable location with restaurants, shops, metro and drug store all close by. Staff handled our request but not necessarily in a friendly manner and actually gave us location of laundromat that was not a laundromat but rather a cleaners and closed for the day after we carted our luggage through the streets. No coffee in the rooms makes me one very unhappy traveler.”

“Overall, the hotel is fine. The parking fees in the hotel are expensive. The rooms were small but that is fine in NYC. The location is good and the rooms are very clean. There isn't any amenities in the hotel such as fridge or vending machine.” Hotel Representatives:
