  • The bathroom was very nice.
  • The pool area was not as expected and chairs had bird droppings/stains.

“The room we had was very high up and we could still hear every honk, train noise going on down below as if we were right by it on the 1st floor. The pool area
I expected larger and to be clean there was bird droppings and stains on cushions/chairs.”

  • Location, view, and the staff.
  • Facility fee charge.

“Room was nice but wouldn't go as far as saying the Trump is a five star. Best part of the room was the great view of the strip. Staff was very friendly. Beware of the daily facility charge of $15.00 on top of the room rate. No mention of this charge until you check in.”

  • The best hotel bed I have ever slept in.
  • Televisions, throughout the hotel, were not working.

“I really loved The Trump. It certainly is a 5 star hotel. My room was very spacious and very nicely designed. The bathroom was large and with every amenity. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Unfortunately, while I was there the televisions were out. Though I don't go to Vegas to watch TV, I do like to catch the news.”

  • Kitchenette was nice.
  • $15 day fee for room amenity, which was 2 10 oz bottles of "Trump"water, isn't that what we pay for the room for.

“Our 1st room the TV did not work, we called for it to be fixed. Over an hour went by we called again, they put us in a different room. ( we packed up and moved) Then after unpacking in our second room, we get a call saying that they would like to Upgrade us to a suite, larger room. So we packed up and moved to our third room. And it was exactly the same!! We finally settled into this room at 2:30 am! I would have just rather stayed at the second, since this third was no different, we were too frustrated at that hour to call and say anything. I was very disappointed on how they handled the situation. I think a motel 6 would have given us a more sincere apology for the TV not working and the room changes. It was my 40th B-day and that night was a disaster. Nothing special. I do like that it is not a casino, across the street from the mall, and the mall connected to the strip, to me a great location, and if the 1st room you get works it would be just fine.”

  • No dislikes.

“Excellent room, excellent restaurant.”

  • Easy access in Vegas with secure parking, no smoking and no casino in the hotel – Grand!
  • Common areas were beautiful but cold – in the sense of sterile.

“The Trump is a luxurious, beautiful and new hotel with large, well appointed rooms that include a mini-kitchen and lovely decor. The access is very easy from the freeway, without needing to go on the strip, with secure (all valet) parking, across the street from major shopping, and near strip amenities.”

  • No smoking non gambling.

“The hotel is very nice and the basic room is well appointed. The problem I see is that I expected a 5 star hotel. First, I used the mens spa. It lacked a whirlpool --- so for me the mens spa was a very nice locker room. The resort fee the more and more hotels are adding on is just a way to get more money for the customer. A small bottle water and local calls and valet parking used be charged.”

  • Non-smoking, no casino, rooms spacious and can accommodate 4 people.
  • Not a good side walk to walk to the hotel. Stove top did not work with the tea kettle.

“We loved the fact that the hotel is nonsmoking and that there is not a casino in the hotel. Hotel is not on the strip, though it is not far from the Wynn. Across the street from Nordstrom's. Bar is very nice and very friendly bartenders. Restaurant was very nice as well. Staff is very attentive. Pool area very clean and comfortable with attentive staff. Music is not blaring. Studio room was spacious and comfortable for our needs. We were three adults. We were on the 16th floor and could hear the train when we were awake, though it did not awaken us.”

  • The pool was pristine and clean. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
  • The $15/night resort fee that I was forced to pay, but did not agree to.

“This hotel was absolutely Zen. It was so clean and the rooms were quiet which made it a great alternative to the noisy, dirty casino hotels. The jacuzzi tub was the best I have ever experienced. You can tell the Donald put his personal touch into every detail. It was just a short taxi ride to the casinos for gambling, but we didn't have to live in it. A lovely, clean, quiet getaway in Vegas.”

  • It's newer.
  • The train noise was 24 hours a day.

“I go to Las Vegas once a month, I've stayed at every high end hotel. This hotel could be on Fremont Street.”

  • Fantastic hotel.
A bit far North on the strip, but fantastic.
  • The $15/day resort fee that was not disclosed.

“The hotel was fantastic, it was supposed to be Timeshares but since the economy tanked they converted to a hotel. It’s probably the best, room wise, on the strip. The two caveats about this place, there is a $15/day resort fee (covers parking, gym access, 2 free 12 oz water bottles replenished daily, and shoe shine) whether or not you use all the services (or any at all). The other is that it really isn’t close to the strip as the map would suggest.”

  • Roomy and a little elegant.
  • No casino, no smoking.

“Overall this hotel is OK, its really nothing special for the price paid. I think this hotel was a little expensive, the room service people kept bugging us and the charged a resort fee that I was not aware.”

  • Decor in the lobby (tiny) and room were great.
  • You can't sleep! Trains! Neighbors doors! More trains! More neighbors slamming door!

“There is just no way to enjoy your stay at this hotel if you can't sleep. The trains behind the hotel blow their horns every 15-30 minutes. We were 58 stories high, and it sounded like our windows were open on the first floor. Then, in addition, the spring loaded doors slam so hard that it scares you when you're awake!”

  • View.
  • Housekeeping was not to par, additional fees for 5 star amenities, Pay for Wi-Fi.

“This is not a 5 star hotel. Upon check-in we were required to pay $15 per day for room newspaper, water, exercise facility access, in-room coffee. Further the hotel charges $11.99 per day for internet access. This hotel rations bath linens, 1 wash cloth, 2 towels, 1 hand towel for 2 people. Glassware was used by rooms previous occupants and was filthy. Room was furnished with 2 clothes hangers.”

  • Excellent service, lovely rooms, nice people.
  • They charged a $17 per night resort fee.

“Good hotel for good price.”

  • Clean, luxurious.
  • A bit far from the action.

“Great hotel, great deal through Priceline.”

  • Spacious, very clean and comfortable rooms.
  • It was a 10 minutes walk to the strip.

“The hotel was beautiful. It was very clean, bright, and spacious. The room was big and very comfortable. The bathrooms were huge with a nice spa tub. Loved the
TV that was built into the bathroom mirror! I was surprised that the hotel is a non-gaming hotel. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time.”

  • Kitchenette, large shower, and the cleanliness.

“The room was spacious, clean bright and amazing. The only complaint is they limited the number of creamers to 4 each day (pretty petty considering everything else was spectacular).”

  • Location was easy to get in and out of for quick day trips; not a casino; staff was helpful
  • Bed was extremely worn to the point of discomfort.

“Spacious room. Very poor bed for a new, 5 star hotel required valet parking. Additional fee not revealed at booking incl req'd valet parking and complimentary water.”

  • Non-smoking, peaceful and quiet.
  • Limited choices for dining, excessive gratuities automatically included for several things.

“ The Trump hotel in Las Vegas was very nice in many ways, my wife really liked it and has stated that it will now be the only place that we will stay when in Las Vegas. ”
