Clean, close to downtown, friendly staff, some good rooms.
Dated interior, parking fees, dangerous area at night.

“Check for parking fees ahead of making any reservation. You may have a better experience staying in a newer area (st. Charles and anything on or outside i270) and commuting downtown if you plan on staying long enough to require a rental car. Things that would make this a great hotel: updated fabrics/carpet, remodeled lobby/cafe', free parking, more security guards around perimeter. Things that currently help the hotel rating: very friendly staff and clean rooms/facilities. If you're going to st. Louis just for the convention center and are in a large pack that are willing to go about downtown together at night this is a great deal. It's really a traveling salesman's hotel and you'll see a lot of company rep's in the bar at night. A single woman would do better to stay in something a little closer to market street or out in sty. Charles/OFallon and just commute in to see the sights/nightlife.”
