“The hotel was very clean and quiet. Desk service was very good and access to computers was excellent. The restaurant was average. Service could have been better and I noticed that silverware was set on the tables and after the customer left, any silverware that looked like it was not used was left on the table for the next customer. I think that all utensils should be removed from the table after someone has eaten there.”

“Most of the Hotel Staff were very friendly, the woman at the counter for check-in was not very friendly. You could hear some noise through the walls from the next room, for instance the blow dryer. But, the rooms were decorated nicely. The front Lobby was not very impressive compared to the pictures online. However, the rest of the hotel was very clean. Security was great, keys needed for elevators.”

“Overall, I was pleased with the location except for the noise from the freeway. In addition the first room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The hotel did honor my request to be moved.”

“Please pay the money to park in hotel lot as oppose to parking on street. It’s worth not being bothered with checking your car to see if its still there.”

“This hotel is in a great area in Greek town, next to a supermarket and Walgreen's, and near some excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. It's within walking distance of Sears tower, State Street shopping, and Blue Line train. Only downside is possible noise from the freeway but glass doors kept noise out well.”

“Very friendly staff, not convenient at all to get the red/blue lines, to Wrigley field or Michigan Avenue.”

“The hotel was very nice and clean but we were wanting to swim with our children and we had to go two blocks away in order to swim. It was close to the other things in town that we were looking to do.”

“The hotel was fine but it was in a different part of town that we were not used to. The ELL was not close enough to take to other areas we wanted to go to. Consequently, we had to take taxis = more expense.”

“The hotel was west of the loop in Chicago and was the only hotel on the block. Public transportation was on the corner so we could go wherever we wanted! The Concierge was not very helpful.”

“Wonderful hotel. Bad parking- expensive valet parking only. I witnessed a valet driver hit a guest's car and not do anything about it.”

“Parking attendants played ball and dented my car. I will not stay there again.”

“Location was great. Excellent view of the city. Unfortunately when we arrived at 1:05 AM we were forced to sit in the lobby for a half hour after an 8 hour drive. Parking is a major issue, be prepared to valet, as there is no other real choice. I would not have complained at all, but we had a carload of luggage and they were unable to provide more than one cart. Valet and bag check were less than helpful. The manager was pleasant and made good with regular updates and getting us into our room as soon as possible, and well as helping secure a 2nd luggage cart personally from elsewhere in the hotel. He was nice enough to comp our breakfast at Dine at Chicago Metro- the restaurant. The Brunch was amazing- and the service was excellent. I'll definitely make it a point to recommend the restaurant to friends and stop there myself next time I'm in Chicago. Overall, nice, comfortable stay other than the initial snafu.”

“Not worth the money. I was able to see what other people got for their money at the national restaurant meeting and I felt like you got the worst room for the rate. Used your service many times. This time might be the last.” Amenities at Crowne Plaza Hotel Chicago-Metro, Chicago
