“I was staying at the hotel after taking the red eye to Minneapolis. It was perfect for what I was looking for. Excellent staff and customer service. Very clean. Great continental breakfast.”

• The scrambled eggs tasted very strange, not freshly cooked.

• The night manager who was there at midnight when I arrived was so very friendly and helpful.
• There was absolutely nothing
  I did not like.

“The hotel was such a surprise. It should be rated much more than a 2.5. The breakfast was like a hot buffet, the room had a feather down blanket, and the shower was delightful. I only wish
I could have stayed more than 6 hours at this hotel. It had a mini ref and microwave (totally unexpected). The USA was delivered in the am. What a little gem of a place.
I will definitely be back with my family.”

• Great towels.
• Position of the mirror across from the bathroom. The lights reflected all night. Also blinking red light on the hair dryer.

“For a quick trip to the airport it was ok. The room was crowded with two queen beds but we went to sleep with the miracle bunch of pillows so we were alright with the features of the room itself. We liked the ambiance of the dining room.”

• The continental breakfast was fabulous!
• The vedning machines were a little odd. All I wanted was a bag of chips and I couldn't find any.

• Rooms are very small, no table space.

“Attractive, clean, (although not spacious) good access to Mall of America which was my destination. Pool was fun. Cable was good for the kids. Staff retained grace under minor setbacks.”

• The bedding was very nice. I liked the way the air-conditioning unit was not directly under the window.
• No view.

“We really enjoyed our brief visit. The room was cool, clean, and comfortable. We thought the free breakfast was by far the best we've seen. We will definitely consider staying there again in the future.”

• Friendly staff - very helpful and welcoming.
• More info on hours of pool and breakfast in literature in room. They tell you but you just don't remember everything at the time of check in.

“Overall - it was great and we will come back. The location is perfect if you are going to the mall. The hotel is easy to get to. The shuttle to the mall was great - we didn't have to park and walk a mile. The shuttle was door to door. The driver(s) were great - they made sure we knew what we needed. The breakfast was AWESOME too! The only thing that happened is that we forgot a phone charger in the room. I called housekeeping and they said they were sending it to me. If I get that back, like they promised, I would re-rate this to the highest rating I could give. It is all about service. A hotel is a hotel for the most part - what makes it a great place to stay is the service and the Holiday Inn Express is great in this area. Thank you!”

• The breakfast area was to small for the number of people.

“My stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The cost was reasonable and the location makes it easy to get to a large number of destinations in the Twin Cities. The pool was okay for the kids.”

• Nice sheets.
• I stood bleeding in lobby and was offered no help, after being struck by their door.

“Staff ignored that fact that I was injured by their door on the property because it was malfunctioning. I asked for an incident report to be filed, and doubt on was. Their were four hotel employees standing their watching and none offered help.”
