• Didn't allow pizza to be delivered to room when though check in agent said they would.

“Rooms were standard and no better than a Marriott but the bathroom was nice and there were a lot of on site restaurants and valet team were great. Also the complimentary car service and 24 hour room service as well as food quality was awesome.”

• Great location. Courteous staff. Beautiful room with a great spa tub.
• Self-parking is $20/night!!

“The staff is very welcoming/accommodating. Fast room service. Beautiful room. Beds have feather down mattress, comforter, and pillows. The complimentary shuttle was very useful (the car remained parked).”

• Got a room with my requested preferences of non-smoking room, king bed, high floor.
• $20 parking per day.

“Very nice room, good view, comfortable bed, nice bath. Very helpful staff. Concierges provided maps to Ikea, etc. Evening concierge was an excellent restaurant consultant, really homed in on what I wanted.”

• The bathrooms were amazing. And the hot tub was great by the pool.
• Parking was $20 bucks. Valet was $30.

“This is one of the best hotel in Atlanta. The fully tiled bathroom and the large sunken and clean tub! Wow! The room was very nice and the staff was great. Plus it is walking distance 5 minutes or less to the mall, MARTA public transportation and Maggiano's, our favorite restaurant.”

• charge for internet, erratic service, poor staff attitude, lacked attention to details

“This is a five-star property physically but no better than a three-star for staff and service. We had a very good rate through Priceline, otherwise, we would have changed locations. The charge for daily internet service it outrageous. It should be free like economy properties. There was a lack of response to simple things like fixing the in-room coffee maker or hall ice machine. We did not get the no-smoking room requested, nor were we moved as promised. Excellent door and bell staff.”

• The bathroom was very nice
• All bellmen were "at lunch" when I arrived

“It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice, but on the small side. The bathroom was very nice. I realized that the drain in the tub was broken, it was repaired while I was out the next day. There were brown spots on one of the towels hanging by the shower. The staff was friendly but not as "professional" as other luxury chains I have stayed in.”

• My room was right next to the pool entrance.

“If I could tell anyone about this experience - it was obnoxious. The music was blaring in the lobby so that it was difficult to hear what they were saying to you while checking in. I had a client with me and both of us discovered that we had called security both nights to quiet the loud obnoxious party people that were yelling down the hall to the swimming pool. I am definitely not going to stay on this floor again if I ever have the opportunity to go to this hotel again!”

• Very luxurious.
• Unfriendly register.

“When daughter checked in with child (10 & 23) no baggage. Just needed one night for appointment next morning. Register had $100 put on her bank card for incidentals. If I had not wanted everything paid for her, I would not have paid in advance. Very upsetting since she didn't have $100 to spare.”

• We love staying there. Great location, great rooms.
• 20$ self parking.

“The staff was very attentive at check in and knew we had stayed there two times before. Impressive lobby and bar area with marble floors and tall plants. Looks like the islands. Quite relaxing.”

• They have a town car to take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel for free.
• I was on business so unfortunately my wife could not be a part of this great experience.

“This is a great place to unwind regardless of your reason for travel. Everyone is extremely friendly and willing to make your stay relaxing.”

• Everything was great. The Buckhead location is perfect.

“The Intercontinental Buckhead is a great hotel in a great location! Numerous restuarant with in a block walking distance. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and I have always been more than delighted with my stays. Attention to detail in the room and public areas is one key.”

• Had mixed experiences in the business center. One extremely helpful; one barely interested in helping.

• The hotel staff was a real disappointment, they all seem to have a smile but under that smile was no substance.

“If you enjoy having a whole lot of people say hello to you and smiling. Then this is the hotel for you. If you want a staff that is trained to attempt to accommodate you wishes and concerns, this is not the hotel for you.”

• The staff is so nice and the accommodations are exceptional!

“If I were able to stay at the Intercontinental every time, I would be glad to! The hotel is fantastic and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The beds are luxurious and my children, ages 6 and 8, want to know when they can go back to "That hotel"!”
