“Overall it was a good experience for the money. There were not a lot of guests at the hotel compared to surrounding hotel.”

“We were very pleased with the quality of this hotel. Even though we didn't visit the restaurant or bar, or have a need for a meeting room, it offers anything a traveler could need.”

“Hotel is undergoing major renovations to the exterior. Room was clean and fairly up to date. Older teens were partying in the hallways very late, but the noise did not carry into the rooms. Lobby looked nice. We were put on the ground floor in a part of the hotel being renovated.”

“Overall we had a pleasant stay. Cigarette smell would appear in areas one would not expect to encounter it. Employees were seen smoking and contributed to cigarette odor issues.”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful, both in person and over the phone when I got lost. (Map quest doesn't recognize the address.) There was a lot of activity when we checked in on a Friday night, a live band in the bar right off the lobby and smote for the kids near the outdoor pool. There's also a small arcade with pinball and video games next to the bar. The room was nice, although quite crowded when the sofa bed was open.”

“My son absolutely loved this hotel, declaring it a 5* hotel. Pleasant staff welcomed us warmly. The room was clean but peeling wallpaper and visible dents in the wall gave away its age. The shower head was only shoulder-height. The Friday night terrace campfire was great and well attended. Sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers and an assortment of sides were a hit.”

“Rooms were nice. Staff was curt. No free breakfast. Restaurants and bars were filled with smoke. Handicap parking not accessible. Hotel computer for guests was broke.”

“Great hotel for price. Convenient to Allentown attractions. The hotel is older, not very pretty. areas around vending machines, washers and dryers not keep clean. Would stay there again for sure.”

“This hotel was not what I would expect from a 3 star hotel. The rooms were old and outdated and the bathrooms were not enjoyable. The toilet had a hard time flushing, the telephone didn't work and the rooms had a moldy odor (we had three rooms). There are a lot of people who smoke here to and the nonsmoking rooms aren't well separated from the smoking section. I have an infant with asthma and this created issues for us during our stay.”

“This is an older Holiday Inn and I did not have high expectations. The staff more than made up for an older facility. This is not your typical Holiday Inn; It is the only full-service hotel in this immediate area.”

“Hotel is conveniently located and clean. Location is safe and sits back from major roadways. Miniature golf is across the street. Front desk needs more staff and staff present are unhelpful. We asked for a non-smoking room and one was not available upon arrival. To me, an available room should be the same one as noted available and not be changed by the hotel. Lots of action and needs from a wedding reception booked on this evening overwhelmed desk staffed with one staff member and this person was responsible for incoming calls. We had to move back our dinner reservation due to wait. If staffing is an issue, create a kiosk or self check-in.”
