• Clean, easy to get to.
• Positioning of TV in room, hard to see from bed.

• The breakfast, the meat and greet in the evening.
• The late night attendant did not respond to our air conditioning concern.

“We were disappointed with our first night stay. We checked in late, which we telephoned the hotel to notify. We were given a room with a non-functioning air conditioning unit. We notified the guest services representative at the front desk and he said it takes 10 - 15 minutes to work. We called back in 30 minutes and he did not offer any solutions. We have two small children. Despite opening the window, we had to leave the freezer and fridge doors open to cool down the room. Not acceptable. We left a message with the general manager. The next day we notified the morning front of the desk person. She said she would notify maintenance. We were not informed that maintenance had already been in our room. The other problem we had with the night guest services representative was that we asked for an extra pillow and he told us he did not have any. So, in the morning, we requested the pillow from the morning front desk. When the room attendant came to give us the pillow, I asked her if she knew how to fix the air conditioning controls/unit. As soon as she walked into the room, she felt the heat of the room. She saw the two small children and made a quick decision to change our room for us. She asked for maintenance, who arrived shortly. He told her that this room was already known that the air conditioning does not work. If that was the case, then why did we get this room in the first place. We did not get compensated for our first night stay nor did we get an upgrade for the remainder of our stay. The day staff was friendly. However, that first late night stay was unfortunate. The hot tub was also not in working order. This hotel has potential to be a great place, but there are definite kinks that need to be fixed.”
