“I visited Cali years ago, before Cali Plaza Hotel was opened. I stayed at another nearby hotel. I made reservations at this same hotel, for this trip. When I arrived and was checking in, I did not like it the same as before. It was not as well maintained. I had read the reviews about Cali Plaza, it was my second choice. I moved there. It was clean and well maintained, but even better, there were people there that could speak English. Seemed to me that there was more activity in the Sixth Avenue area years ago. It was a little slow the nights I was there, but my visit was during the week days. I have no complaints about Cali Plaza. I hope it is still good when I return.”

“I am not an American citizen but lived in use many years, I currently live and work in Santa Marta, Colombia. I met an American on 6th avenue, where all the fun places are. I asked him if he knew any hotels nearby that he could recommend. I walnut very happy with where I was staying. I love Colombia, but most businesses here need to learn organization and customer service. I did not need a cell phone, because I already have one, but I thought it a great idea to give one to each guest. The guest must buy minutes, but the use of the cell phone is free. I do not know of any Colombian hotel offering this service. I also liked the free wireless internet; all the previous hotels I have stayed at, charge for this service. ”

“Coli plaza hotel is small but has many foreign guests. Free use of cell phones and free wireless internet is great. Also a great location near many discos. This is my third trip to coli plaza. I saw the reviews on trip advisor and booked the first time because of all the recommendations. No one needed to recommend it the second or third time. I like the location and the people. Coli plaza is a great place to meet other travelers and make new friends. I did not think I would like staying with other foreigners because I thought I would rather stay with the locals to experience their culture, but staying at coli plaza changed my mind. I learned many things that helped me in the streets and with understanding the culture. (Mainly, the foreigners were more honest and sincerely helped you.) Claude the owner of coli plaza also helped everyone. He was more like one of us than the owner. He said what he thought and it did not always compliment him or coli, but everyone appreciated his bluntness and sincerity. I am here for the third time! I must have liked something. It was also nice to have a drink in the bar in the evenings and watch the scenery walk by. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“Cali plaza hotel is a great place to stay if you don't know cali. Hang out with the other guests if you want to learn fast. I met my future wife there. I got engaged on my trip. I knew her through the internet for over a year before I finally visited. I was concerned about cali being a safe place. I didn't feel or see any danger like promoted on TV. I have another week here. I hope to come back another visit before my marriage. I will stay at cali plaza. It's nice in cali; many beautiful women around cali plaza hotel. If you are single, you definitely should check this place out. Cali plaza is a new and nice hotel. They furnish you with a free cell phone to carry anywhere until you checkout. You only buy pre-paid phone cards for minutes. It's a great service.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I was Very pleased with my stay at CALI PLAZA. Everyone made me feel as if I we're Family! There is great security there and much attention to me was given freely and DAILY which made me feel free to come and go and not to worry about the details. And if one needs a place to go my friends at CALI PLAZA directed me to the best choices. I am going back as soon as I can, that is, IF they have any rooms left! “My first trip to Cali was wonderful and it had a lot to do with where I chose to stay. It all starts with how things are run. Claude (owner) and Gonzalo will make you feel at home within the first five minutes of your arrival. The location is close to the nightlife for which Cali is known for. You also have banks, supermarkets, clothing stores, an internet cafe and much, much more within walking distance. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always available. Room prices are very affordable. I If you have more specific questions, feel free to email me at milanojps@yahoo.com. Enjoy your stay in Cali...” 21 of 21 people found this review helpful.

“It is on the corner of Sixth Avenue. That's where the nightlife is. It is not far from the downtown business area. It is close to shopping areas. Only two blocks from the new restaurant row. It is not a large hotel. It has apartments and single rooms. It seems like home. It has a great waterfall in the lobby. Some of the apartments are for sale. ” 12 of 12 people found this review helpful.
