“As someone who's occupation revolves around global travel, I have found the Tepe Hotel, Samsun, Turkey, to be possibly the worst for accommodation, helpfulness of staff and their general ignorance, awfully prepared food, absolutely nothing in the rooms or hotel actually perform the function for which it was intended with the sad inclusion of a shoe polisher in the reception area. Overcharging is high on the list of ways to assist the foreign traveler along with refusal to acknowledge conversational attempts in English or Turkish. Room cleaning services could at best be described as brisk and accidental. Stay somewhere else!”
