• Everything it said on the tin good value sun sea sand.
• Boring at night.

“Nice hotel. All inclusive holiday was excellent value for Caribbean in Feb. Did exactly what it said on the tin. Sun sand and sea. Punta Cana is a bit out on its own though so there is nowhere to go outside the hotel except for the tours which were ok but based on a lot of drinking. Locals are friendly and staff is good. After two weeks it was becoming a bit boring as the evening entertainment was all song and dance stuff. There was one disco/ bar where you have to pay for the drinks. All the others were free but they were in a huge reception area which lacked intimacy. The specialist restaurants were good but you have to queue to book (something to do in the morning!) I liked the food in the buffet if you resisted the urge to put everything on your plate at once then you could have a good varied selection every day. The kids thought it was great and we hardly ever saw them. The worse part was the flight. We flew with My Travel and you fly to the capital then a 3 hour bus journey over bumpy roads at night so you couldn't see the country. We met some people on the same holiday, who flew with First Choice that landed at a local airport. We left on the same day they left two hours after us and got home 3 hours before us! My seat was broken and I cut my hand on some jagged metal. I had paid extra for it and then the stewardess wanted me to pay to be moved to another seat! Thanks My Travel guys. I really enjoyed being treated like scum.”
