  • Reasonable room tariff, friendly staff, nearby the main Thamel market.
  • Unprofessional staff, power cuts, no food available after 9 PM till 7 AM.

“Stay in a Kathmandu hotel may not be a guaranteed comfort for everyone. There is a 15-16 hours power cut and hotels are helpless to arrange light during the cut. Neither TV nor hot water. You will have to depend on candles. Those who love to rafting, gliding and want to test their stamina while climbing on snow covered peaks could have better opportunities. Especially, Indian and Asian may not have enjoyable stay as location does not offer any attraction for them.”
