• There were plenty of activities.
• Waitress at breakfast was too talkative.

“Spa facilities were excellent and numerous. Unfortunately we were only there overnight so we didn't have a chance to really enjoy everything they had to offer.”

• The large indoor pool.
• Staff not knowledgeable to events going on, restaurant suggestions etc.

“Upon checking out, I observed how others were checked in and they received the Royal treatment as far as informing them about the shuttle service and performances at their sister hotels. Hotel info, restaurants in the area, etc. When I checked in, it was here is your key and there is the elevator. And I had to kill at least 3 black spiders a day in the room. We was on the Upper Garden floor, I don't know what or who was above our room but it was very noisy people walking hard and sounding like they were dragging furniture early in the am and late at night. Every time you asked the staff member a question they had to ask someone else for the answer. I was very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend the place. The kids program was a joke and the game room was even sadder you had to pay to use it and they only had play station no game ball machines etc. On the day we checked out the maid was standing at the door at the 11:00 check out time as if she couldn't clean the checked out room two doors down from us until we got out. We never had enough wash clothes and had to wait until later in the day to get them. We had two rooms with three people in each room and everyday they left us 2 washcloths. Never enough towels in the pool area and the gift shop was wasted space because it had nothing in it that you would want.”

• Convenient to mountain creek, programs for kids.
• There was a blackout while we were there - staff handled it poorly - became overwhelmed and lead to a chaotic stay.

“We skied all day only to return to the hotel to find the pool was closed because of the power failure. This was out of the hands of the staff, but they could have handled the situation better. I ended up losing my wallet as I wandered around the hotel, trying to sign my kids up for kids craze, find out about the pool, etc. I was with a group of 7 families, who all left feeling very harried. Our dinner at kites was ok, but took a very long time. The elevators were spread out - it took forever to go from room to lobby to pool - and often being used by the staff. A service elevator would help, as suggested by a 10-year old I road the elevator with at one point.”

• Comfortable beds, use of pools & workout facilities included.
• Hallways were hot and stuffy; no breakfast included

“A very nice place to stay! Spa facilities were also very enjoyable. We were given nicer rooms than what we originally booked, and our bill reflected a higher price for them. ”
