• It had no redeeming qualities what so ever.
• Nothing worked well, lots of broken items that is windows, doors, faucet. It smelled horrible.

• Nothing, it really was horrible.
• Dirty, smelly, uncomfortable, spit on the ceiling.

“I've traveled the world and this is by far the worst place I have stayed. That's comparing it to hostels which held 18 people per room, yet this was still worse. Avoid it at all costs. There was actually "loogies" on the ceiling of my Cleary unclean room. Honesty, just a horrible experience.”

• Kept up poorly.

“Shoddy decor - unpatched holes in the wall, furniture with broken legs, unremovable stains in the tub, unpainted porch with broken stairs, air conditioner which was nothing more than a fan, a fine breakfast with good basic options and coffee included in the cost.”

• Water was leaking in the bathroom around foundation, carpet was wet.

• Night hotel clerk had a card to show that they were expecting us. No other motel did this on this trip.
• Room a little crowded and badly needs updated and refurbished. Area to get ice was very shabby and needs cleaned up!

• The staff tried to be helpful.
• It was not clean.

“Convenient to Burlington and easy to find. Rooms were small and not clean. The shower did not have hot water one morning, but the staff was doing their best to be helpful.”

• Nice pool.
• Mold in the bath tub, soap scum on the lavatory handle, light switch broken, not enough electric outlets to run TV, fridge, and desk lamp together.

“I needed an inexpensive hotel in the area. This was the cheapest available from a recognized chain. The room was not well maintained, and the staff did not care about being helpful. At checkout the clerk declined to give me a receipt.”

• Absolutely nothing, it was the worst hotel I've ever been to.
• Dirty rooms, spiders and flys all over.

“I would never ever stay at this hotel again. It was horrible, dirty, stink with spiders, bugs and flies in the room. Just nasty. Checked out 5 minutes after I checked in which was 5 minutes too long.”

• Rust in bathroom, unsafe lighting & stairs, and terrible breakfast.

“I usually feel that I can trust Econo Lodges to be basic but decent. This one, however, is getting crumbly: broken light fixtures in parking lot, dangerous stairs & no lighting in vending machine area, flood in laundry room, rusty window shade & heater in bathroom, inadequate continental breakfast (waffle batter, bread slices, dry cereal & coffee), etc. I realize that this particular EconoLodge only has a 1-star rating, but that's even too high; I would give it a -3. It just wasn't worth the price, especially after seeing local mom & pop motels in much better condition charging 1/2 of what I paid. I won't stay here again.”

• Fresh waffles for breakfast cook them yourself on the available waffle iron, batter etc. Provided.
• Knob for heater adjustment missing in bathroom.

“Not fancy but comfortable for a quick stay. Nice economy accommodations, easy access, friendly staff. Great breakfast!”
