• Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
• Looked clean at first, but beneath the surface it was rather dingy.

“The shuttle ride to and from the hotel happens every hour at the top of the hour, but I recommend being there a little earlier so you don't miss it. The room was fine just for me, but I can see it would be crowded if there were more people. The bed was super comfy and there was a nice flat screen; however, the picture quality wasn't all that great. Overall, the staff was very friendly, and the room was nice for a one night stay.”

• Prompt check in, taxi service and shuttle service promptly available.
• Demanded to keep a copy of my driver license, room was underground.

“It was nice and clean. Did not like getting a room underground. When looking out the window all I saw was the tires of the parked cars. Did not like the fact that the front desk demanded they keep a copy of my driver's license to check in. This is the first hotel I have stayed at in 20yrs that requested that. When checking out I requested the copy of my driver's license be given back to me and they had to call the manager in order for me to get it back. Other than that everything else was fine.”

“We stayed here because of a long layover and were quite pleased. Friendly service and a nice breakfast. A clean but very small room. Bathroom was good. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it.”

• The room was a little cramped, not enough space to move around.

• Great location. Close to family and friends.
• No complaints at all.

“This hotel is located close to 2 major airport, Kennedy and LaGuadia. It is on a major roadway the belt parkway, which can get you to all 5 boroughs throughout New York City. I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels, but this hotel was very comfortable.”

• The staff was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was a nice start to the day, multiple options.
• Not much around it, convenience store, shopping, dining.

“The hotel is conveniently located between both airports. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cleaning staff does a nice job of cleaning room and replenishing supplies. The ladies in charge of the morning breakfast buffet keep it well stocked and very clean. I had a very positive stay at this location. To the staff and management, keep up the great job!”

• Poor/smoking smell in non-smoking rooms & hallway.

“We arrived JFK airport late before midnight and the hotel had a close-friend procedure in providing us the shuttle to the hotel. The hotel still had quite bit pizza and coffee left at the front desk for those late arrivals. The staff served our needs just like a family member and assisted us to get cab in front of the hotel and a very helpful NYC touring map. Their breakfast was irresistible and unforgettable.”

• The price was affordable; shuttle service is free.
• Nothing about the hotel itself.

“The hotel is a perfectly fine place to sleep at an affordable price. If you sleep late though, you miss the free breakfast! The shuttle service is great, but I hadn't realized what a long, drawn-out process it would be to get the shuttle, to the train, to the subway, to get into the city.”

• The staff at the front desk, no matter what time of day, is very helpful and professional. Free WiFi is a bonus if you have a laptop.
• The complimentary airport shuttle was late by an hour. Fortunately, it did not interfere with my travel plans.

“After a long day and night of traveling, I was very happy to see such friendly staff at this hotel. The driver of the complimentary airport shuttle was a little brisk, but he was helpful nonetheless. One of the staff from the front desk even helped to carry my bags up to my room. The room was compact but it felt spacious to me. It had a clean bathroom, a flat screen television, complimentary WiFi and a wonderful mattress for the bed. Even though the hotel is next to a busy road, my room was quiet. I didn't even hear noises from the other rooms as I sometimes do in other hotels. The continental breakfast provides a variety of hot and cold items and two attendants on hand to assist. The only negative things I can say about this hotel is that 1) It does not have the currency exchange services. 2) The location of the hotel is about a 45-minute journey from Manhattan via the airport shuttle, JFK Air train, and subway. 3) The airport shuttle was late by one hour. Fortunately, it did not interfere with my travel plans, but it could have nonetheless.”

“There was shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and back the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable with a big chair instead of the normal desk chair.”

• Very good, free, continental breakfast.
• The rooms were very small for a family of four.

“The room was fine, however smaller than we expected. We were told there would be a refrigerator and microwave in the room, however upon check in, there were none. We asked and told that they were only available upon request. They had no microwaves, and the fridge they brought did not work. However if you are looking for a cheaper hotel with a great, fast breakfast close to JFK, then this was a good value for the $.”
