“Great place if your looking for a clean, simple hotel for your JFK overnight. The rooms are well appointed, with comfortable clean linens. Not much in the area for food, but the front desk staff is more then willing to recommend some places for delivery, which is just as good. For what it is, you cant go wrong.”

“It was what it needed to be, basic no frill accommodation but clean, close to the airport. Wouldn't stay for any purpose other than being close to the airport for an early morning flight. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff did provide inaccurate info (not intentionally) about when the shuttle was coming to pick us up from the car rental place so we waited much longer than we needed to late at night. Not the fault of the hotel, though, since this was a shuttle that covered more than one hotel.”

“The hotel itself was great, clean, nicely remodeled, and safe (despite the somewhat sketchy surrounding neighborhood). The staff, however, was a massive disappointment. We had to call 4 times for a shuttle from the airport (the desk clerk accused us of lying about the fact that none had arrived), and ended up waiting for 45 minutes in the freezing cold in the middle of the night. Another staffer told us she would arrange for a cab to pick us up at the hotel, but instead called a private car service which cost us twice what she quoted us. The hotel is nice, but don't bank on the staff making transportation easy!”

“The staff was not rude but not very helpful. It lacked basic amenities like no jug full of drinking water in room, no tea bags and no kettle for boiling water for tea. There was no instruction sheet for how to use the phone which would not be just extremely useful but necessary for overseas travelers. The radio clock was not working. Some information or a sheet having important phone numbers like those to check flight schedules etc. Would be extremely useful.”

“I stood freezing outside joke airport for an hour and a half waiting for the shuttle. I called the hotel repeatedly every 20 minutes and was told shuttle on the way. Joke is only about 7 minutes away from hotel. Inexcusable! The desk clerk was polite and apologetic but freezing outside put a huge damper on my weekend. Room had masonry screws holding curtain rod to ceiling, lights blew out twice for an extended amount of time, and carpet was filthy.”

“I stayed here because the reviews said "OK value for the money". Sheesh --- I don't know who's 'value' and 'money' scale they're using, but I'll never stay in this dump again. Beware the free shuttle; runs limited hours.”

“Given the description of the hotel, I had assumed that the shuttle between the hotel and the airport was a regular service. My companions and I were distressed to find out that the shuttle stopped running g at 10PM and we had to take cabs to the hotel. When we arrived we learned that the van only departed every hour, unusual for airport hotels where shuttles tend to depart far more frequently. The hotel was very understaffed and the woman at the front desk was very obviously overwhelmed. I think next time I'm at JFK I will certainly spend the extra 15-25 dollars to stay at a better hotel.”

“I felt this hotel was very conveniently located to the airport, was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The continental breakfast was nice, and I would recommend this hotel to others.”

“I did not like it. I left early (I only stayed 2 days) and stayed at another hotel in NYC. I thought it was very small. I did not like the lack of entrances and exits. I also did not like that you had to use the elevator. The rooms were also very small. Staff not very friendly either. I will not stay there again.”
