• Very clean and nice TV.
• No coffee maker in the room!

“This hotel was way more than I expected for a 1 star hotel. Very clean and the room included a refrigerator and flat panel TV.”

• The room was a lot bigger than expected, especially for New York.
• Parking was way to limited.

“I was amazed on the cleanliness and size of the room. Very comfortable bed. Easy to get to hotel. Parking was limited and not the easiest hotel to get lots of luggage into if you have over packed. Hotel staff was friendly and prompt. I will always stay here when going to the city. Only $8.00 cab ride to get to the train to go to Manhattan.”

• Very quite, local restaurants would deliver, coffee was available for 24/7, staff was always willing to call us a cab.
• Bathtub had multiple burn marks on it.

“The Econo Lodge was very nice, we felt very safe in the neighborhood. We stayed in the Bronx because we were going to a Yankees game (which was still pretty far away). If you are going to New York and going to be in the city to site see or for business then your best thing is to spend the extra 20 or 30 dollars for a hotel and stay in the city. The cab ride from Penn Station to the Bronx was about 60 dollars.”

• My room was spacious, I slept comfortably, free cable and wireless service and the room was presentable and clean.
• The fan in my bathroom wasn't working and it was way to far from all the main attractions and JFK Airport

“All and all I enjoyed my stay. It was very quiet, and I was able to rest comfortably. I felt safe and secure. The room was somewhat clean. Hotel staff we're okay, they weren't the most friendliest people. My room was spacious, I didn't like how I had to step up into my bathroom. The hotel was also quite far from all the main attractions as well as JFK Airport. Its closer to LaGuardia Airport instead.”

• Very clean and convenient to stores.
• Very small and tight parking lot.

“Overall hotel was very clean and quiet. Breakfast and juice were very convenient, and had different variety of things to choose from. Hotel appearance was very acceptable (was being painted at time) and staff were nice.”

• Good customer service, friendly, the complementary breakfast was a plus for the kids.
• I did not like seeing the couples coming in for a few hours.

“Over all the this hotel supplies the need. Although I could have saved a few extra dollars if had a triple A (AAA) choice to select from. This hotel was well kept, quite, easy access to shopping center and expressway. If I visit New York again, I would consider a stay at this Econo Lodge.”
