• Location and room.
• The spa and pool were closed and I was expecting both.

“The staff was bickering among themselves over reservations and room assignments. I was expecting to use the pool and spa and they were closed. I personally think this should have been revealed at the time of purchase.”

• The restaurant was very convenient. The buffet was priced right and delicious. The hotel was a great location to visit Newport. Great shopping!
• At night the Hotel sign was not recognizable. It was written over a Ramada Inn sign.

“The hotel was great for the price. We were visiting Newport for the weekend with friends and it was very easy traveling there. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was very convenient. We took advantage of the shopping in the area.”

• Temperpedic beds in all rooms, 24 hour heated indoor pool access.
• Nothing!

• Friendly staff; Internet available; 24hr pool.
• Facilities not well maintained; dirty tissue on bed!

“A well priced hotel for families with a 24hr heated indoor pool. The facilities are not state of the art and could use a renovation, but there is a spa (hair, nails, massage onsite) Close to restaurants, shopping, and the water. My issues with the room were dealt with quickly and professionally.”

• The entrance onto the property and the layout of the lobby were very nice.
• Our room had the entry light fixture inoperable.

“The staff was friendly, the facility was attractive and the grounds were pleasant. We only stayed 1 night but feel it would have been a comfortable and convenient place to stay for a longer period”

• Tempurpedic Beds.
• Did not have enough extra towels to accommodate my group, road sign does not illuminate correctly at night.

“This hotel is a good 10-15 minute drive from Newport depending on traffic because it is situated on a main road. Staff were pleasant considering they were pretty busy. Plenty of parking available. Rooms had tempurpedic beds!! Bathroom tub was peeling its paint and the drain was slow moving. Overall, we got what we expected for a 2 star hotel.”

• Outdated, messy, wires outside window.

“It wasn't nice at all. It is in a good location but it needs some work. It was way too expensive. I would've felt better paying less.”

• Bed was the best I have ever slept in!
• Artificial air freshener sprayed by maid in room was too strong.

“The hotel staff went way above and beyond the call of duty to make this stay great. (Note: If looking for this hotel, look for the old Ramada Inn sign, otherwise, you might miss seeing it).”

• Small Bathroom.

“Hotel is older with an outside shell built around the original building. When looking out the windows of your room, you will be looking into the shell at some fake exterior windows. Cleanliness and staff support is above average and staff. Sheets and Pillow cases clean.”

• Lots of free things...cookout, champagne, etc.
• I wish it were closer to downtown but then it would be 4 times the price!

“This is a great place to stay if you don't want to pay the big bucks for a downtown hotel. They have a shuttle service and taxis are available to get you to all of the action. Downtown is only 3 miles away!!”

• Termpurepedic Matresses on all beds
• renovations being done-- a lot of construction going on

• The limo shuttle service to Newport was great!
• The windows in our room were blocked by a new hallway that is being added to the front of the building.

“Not only were we able to check in at 9AM because our room was ready, but the woman at the front counter was helpful and friendly. The hotel also had a complimentary BBQ in the afternoon, complementary champagne, cheese and crackers in the evening and 25 cent draft beer at night. The service in the lounge was great and they were also able to get us limo shuttle service to and from Newport!”
