“The rooms were fairly typical, some wear showing. Cleanliness, average. After we changed rooms, the air was much cleaner. Like I said, the breakfast was quite a surprise, eggs, bagels, muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, Danish, cereal, etc. All around, a fine choice for those on a budget. Pool was nice.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were disgusting. The staff was rude. It was impossible to even get a housekeeper to come clean the room the next day. And it was severely over-priced. The checked new people in before their room was even ready forcing them to hang out with their luggage outside on a very hot day. If I could score this hotel in the negative numbers I would.”

“If there were no other options left I would stay there again. I would just not make contact the front desk because there accent is so thick they don't understand you and it makes it frustrating.”

“I would recommend spending a little more on yourself and going to Ocean City. This hotel is more like a one star hotel. A door, a bed, and a bathroom. We pre-paid for two nights but were so disgusted to have our children stay here, we checked out and paid for another hotel 60 miles from our destination.”

“It had really good reviews, ratings, and awards for an economy hotel but having stayed at a few cheap hotels/motels this may be the worst maintained bathroom area I have ever had. The service was average. The continental breakfast had a good selection. I cannot understand how this place earned awards and such great reviews. Our room also seemed to have some plumbing issues.”

“I had a bad experience. I book my hotel after 6 p.m. and my checking time in the hotel was 2 p.m. That's not fair.”

“We arrived late for a two day stay; we arrived on the first day around midnight, tired and glad to get in bed. The next day we toured the area and came back to a refreshed room. The hotel was locale in a good place.”

“The staff is friendly. The accommodations were exactly what I was expecting. It is a typical shore motel. I liked the in ground pool. It is very convenient to A.C. and a 10 minutes drive to the beach in OCNJ.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient but set back with woods nearby. The continental breakfast was standard, cereal, bagels, toast, juice and included hard boiled eggs, a nice addition. The room had the send of a cleaner, but is was not the normal piney smell. It was well worn but comfortable.”

“Nice folks running the place. Room was clean, and so was the bathroom. They cleaned the room, changed the sheets and restocked the bathroom towels and coffee maker everyday. The Conn. breakfast was good. I'm pretty picky and I found it pretty decent for the price. Quiet area w/good parking security. Good location with open 24 hr "WaWa" store/gas station down the street. Close drive to Cape May for Coast Guard Graduate / Families. 60 mile drive to Philadelphia International Airport.”

“This is the type of hotel you see in the movies where the hooker gets shot or the mob cuts your feet off in the tub. This has been the worst hotel I ever stayed in.”
