“
Essentially, it was nothing special. There were no towels or soap in our room upon arrival. When I went to the front desk to obtain them, a hotel staffer (who was conversing with the front desk attendant) indicated that patrons were not supposed to receive these amenities upon arrival, but later on. I have never heard of any excuse similar this in my many stays at various hotels throughout the world.”

“This hotel was run down - check in was rude. Entrance doors were not secure - no locked doors at all let alone after 11 except check in.”

“I enjoyed the comfort of the room and the friendly staff as well as the free breakfast but, the shower was awful, water was only lukewarm and shower faucets leaked horribly, one room the tub filled up as I was showering.”

“The hotel was clean and pleasant. It was safe and the breakfast was substantial. The staff was attentive and it was fine for the Philadelphia area. Because in the land of the blind - one eyed Jacks are King.”

“This hotel is a left-over from years gone by. The front desk was courteous but I believe there may be a problem with drug culture clientele. The location encourages these possibilities.”

“The outside of the hotel was nice, but the room I stayed it was not clean and it had a lot of damage. It reminded me of the Walter reed hospital, I saw on the news. If I had my choice, I would not stay at this hotel again.”

“The hallways smelled like a cheap motel, the room itself smelled of mold. There was no remote control for the TV, I had to ask for it. The parking lot seemed very unsafe at night, badly lit, deserted, next to a boarded up wreck of an old motel.”

“They didn't change linens (I never even saw a maid cart in the hallway). My non smoking rooms stank of smoke - as in many smokers before me, not just one. You can't access it safely and have to drive a long stretch each way to turn around. Loud loud - rude front office staff.. what else? the list goes on and on - I would never stay in Cherry hill again for fear of getting this lemon of a hotel.”

“Never stay at the Quality Inn in Maple Shade, NJ. We stayed there during Labor Day weekend (Friday, Saturday Sunday nights) and our room was flooded when we got there. It also smelled like a dozen cats lived there for 2 years. So, the maintenance guy ripped up the carpeting and put on an industrial fan. 5 hours later, nothing was dried and it smelled worse since it blew the stench all over the room. So, they moved us to the honey moon suite. The honeymoon suite also smelled musty. The following day, we had a pair of $800 diamond earrings stole from us on the Saturday when the maids were in there between 2pm and 5pm. There was no proof of the earrings ever being there, so no one did anything to help us. I'm never going to another Quality Inn and making sure I tell all of my friends and family my story. The honeymoon suite included a Jacuzzi, which when we filled it up, was all foamy at the top.”

“I was moved from my first room. Water damage and mold on the wall. They couldn't find another room for me, even though the hotel was FAR from full. Finally put me in a different room...no mold. Asked the next morning for an ironing board. NONE to be found. Front desk was unwilling to find one for me. VERY disappointing stay and this hotel is significantly worse than it was last year. Last year - clean, pleasant, enjoyable stay. This year - awful. ”

“It was overall a positive experience. The location was nice, and close to everything in the area -- equidistant to Moorestown and Cherry Hill malls, for convenient shopping. The area is known for good family restaurants, easily accessed from the hotel. The hotel property was well kept. The door to our room, however, was a little off and needed an extra pull to make certain it closed properly. Beds were nice, the bathroom was nice. A complimentary hot breakfast buffet was a very nice added touch to the time stayed. We have used a number of times for hotels in the South Jersey (Pennsauken, Cherry Hill, Mount Laurel) area, and definitely believe that the Quality Inn ranks among the better ones we've stayed at.”

“This is a good hotel for its rating. They need to do more about the odors in hall ways. I really don't know what is cause. It could dirty carpet or something else. It could be horrible odor. The hotel shower is designed too small for 6 footers. The shower is too low and the tub too small.”

“This was a good value as an economy level hotel considering the safe, refrigerate, and microwave in the room. There is also a nice outdoor pool and a continental breakfast provided. On the downside, the hotel is somewhat rundown and is in a difficult to reach location.”
