• Outstanding staff.
• Bathroom shower/tub could use some upgrading.

“Absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived the staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel is beautiful and the location is in a quiet area. The restaurant was the Creme DE la creme! Wonderful service, gorgeous surroundings and excellent food. The whole experience was amazing and 100% family friendly.”

“Overall, gets the job done. The hotel needs remodeling - the rooms and bathrooms are old and there is some degradation in common areas (elevator buttons need replacement).”

• The ground were lush and well kept.
• Rooms halfway updated, lobby and halls very tired and worn.

• The first room assigned, although non-smoking had the smell of smoke. The management changed our room to one that had no smoking smell.

“One we always select to stay when we come to N. Holloywood.”

• They had great bartenders that made very good drinks.
• They charged me for things I did not order to my room.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was beautiful and very accommodating. In regards to the hotel itself, regarding rooms and amenities, I did not have any complaints. However at the end of my stay I was charged for items that were not ordered to my room and they went ahead and charged them to my room anyways. I was very upset and went to argue the bill, and was not helped by the staff. They charged me $30 for food I did not order nor eat, because I was not even in my room at that time. I went out in town for dinner and then they charged me and additional $60 the day after I checked out for something I still have no idea what it was for! I am still trying to fight these charges and would like it if you would assist me with this. I never called anyone from the room because I have my own cell phone, and I never ordered any food or drinks to my room. Please help me with this matter! Thanks!”

• Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
• Breakfast buffet wasn't as hot as you would expect.

“I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was very comfortable. The only recommendation I would make is to arrange the room so that the comfortable chair is accessible to viewing TV.”

• Had to pay for parking.

“Not happy from the moment we got our keys, to the parking meter eating our ticket, the room didn't match the pictures and for what we spent you'd think we were getting a royal suite. Not a dump.”

• Clean room and free newspaper to the door in the morning.
• Paint is peeling off inside the bathroom and tub drainage is very slow.

“It was a pleasant stay in general. We like the convenient location and the free shuttle service to the Universal studio. Parking fee of $13.00 a day seems a bit high for outdoor parking facility.”

• This hotel has nice rooms that are fresh and near a mall.
• Having to pay for parking.

• Excellent location with the friendliest staff in the world.
• A little bit pricey

“You feel right at home the moment you walk through the door at the lobby that is being held for you by an employee. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and met all of our needs. The hotel is very safe and secure which is important to me since I am a police officer traveling with my family. This is without a doubt the best hotel property for the money in this part of Southern California and I plan to return and stay again very soon.”
