“ When I first arrived to my room there were about 15 to 20 people in the hallway having a block party. I soon realized it was the mothers and fathers of kids there for some annual hockey event. They were not unduly loud and pretty friendly. They wrapped up at about 10PM. Though there were some kids running around until about 11:30PM which was slightly annoying. Kudos to the parents for being able to let their kids have fun but still maintain a level of respect for the other guest which they out numbered about 7 to 1. ”

“Overall, it was a good experience. The rooms are not as clean as my standards require, but not terrible. They upgraded us when we had issues with the first room. Very accommodating staff.”

“There was no way they would make any other upgrades or change the rooms. We went through Priceline and we were given the room they wanted us to have.”

“This hotel is about six miles from Niagara falls and the town of Niagara. It is on the Niagara river and very scenic area, looks more like a lake than a river. Many nice amenities and very clean, staff friendly and helpful.”

“What you see it what you get with this hotel. If you view the photos available on the website, this is what you will see when you arrive to the Holiday Inn Grand Island. Though the hotel is old (and in need of some maintenance - no ice machine on the 4th floor, old couches in the entry ways) we found the rooms to be clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“The hotel was a very good value. It was quiet and clean. The hotel had 2 heated swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, along with a jacuzzi and sauna. It was about 15 - 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. Just make sure you eat before coming to the hotel after midnight - there is nothing available (no restaurant or room service) around there after midnight and we ended up eating from a vending machine one night - candy and cookies - of course, my grandson LOVED that!”

“Not very clean public areas, nice view of Niagara River if you could see through the dirty sliding balcony doors.”

“Perhaps a little off of it's peak, but if you are headed to the greater Niagara Falls or Buffalo area the Holiday Inn Grand Island, situated alongside the Niagara River is a great respite. It is off the beaten path.”

“Certainly this hotel needs updating and some attention to details. The room was clean but not sparkling. The towels at the pool were pitifully thin and truly non-absorbent. This hotel is not a three star but definitely a two star hotel.”

“This was a 3-star hotel only because of the amenities. The rooms were older and only had twin beds. There was some unrepaired wear and tear showing in the room.”

“Located away from all the traffic. Get getaway. This hotel had everything. Clean pool and snack bar. Easy check-in and out. We put the do not disturb sigh outside our door. When we returned that night we had received a message from the house cleaning, informing us if we need anything to please call the main desk. Delightful stay.”
