• Location and friendly staff, comfortable beds.
• Tiny bathroom, door actually bumped the toilet seat upon closing.

• The hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the beach and in walking distance from other local businesses.
• The private beach is not really what I expected. Great area for laying out or relaxing but it's right off the Marina, not exactly beach!

“The staff was wonderful! They were helpful and friendly. Didn't stay much in the room, the beach is right across the street and you can walk to shops, clubs and restaurants. Breakfast was great!”

• Small bathroom.

“Overall, I liked this hotel from its prompt service in the lobby to its great location. The refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot, ironing board. All make the vanity area a little cramped, but if you want these things in your room, they were there and all functional. We stayed primarily on weekdays and left of a Saturday. Friday night was much louder with the local bands/ nightspots, but not to where we couldn't sleep. The beds were awesome- soft and comfortable, not hard like so many hotel beds. I would definitely go back for a nice 2-3 day trip, and the beach and fishing pier really is just a short walk away!”

• Didn't smell like cigarettes like the last Comfort Inn I stayed at.
• The continental breakfast was lacking variety.

• It was close to the beach and very convenient to get to all the attractions.
• To close to the clubs and when you are trying to go to sleep it's just a little too loud.

“The hotel was nice and clean, it's just in a bad location because of the clubs, and it gets a little to noisy around there. I would recommend it for spring breakers, but if you have small kids and don't want to hear the noise at 1 a.m. then try finding another hotel.”

• Fast response to the many problems we encountered.
• Broken shower, no sink drain, mold on bath ceiling, broken electric outlet, dirty carpets, and dirty public areas, broken on demand movie credit card scanner.

“We had a view of the stair well from our room. Breakfast never changed from one day to the next, so you better like sausage and biscuits or dry waffles. Management is not keeping the property in good repair. Many things were wrong, that should never have been. And it should not have been our responsibility to notify them of their maintenance issues and then have to sit around and wait for them to come and fix.”

• View was great with the good weather we had.
• Staff could care less about us since they had our money.

“Was unable to check in till 3:45 P.M. and did not care for employees attitude. Bed was very uncomfortable and air conditioner went out in the middle of the night. Staffs attitude was O' well. When we tried to have breakfast at 8:30 AM there was nothing left except waffle batter and coffee. Over all experience was very poor. Best part of the stay was when we were off the property at beaches.”

• Excellent location close to beach and pier and all businesses at the beach/ nice pool area.
• Bathroom floor tile and rug could be cleaner.

“This is a great hotel for families; it's within walking distance to the public beach, pier, shopping center and eating establishment. The pool is small but clean and there is a play ground/ volley ball area for the kids. The hotel is not on the beach. The self service breakfast is very good and the air conditioning in the rooms is excellent.”

• I loved the proximity to both beach and mariNA Family oriented place, with great breakfast.
• The carpet in our room smelled horrible. It was the only negative thing of our whole trip.

“Check in was fast and friendly. The pool was great, with a bar and lots of floats for the kids to play with. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, the pier, and the beach. They are in the process of recarpeting all of the rooms, so our horrible smelling room probably won't be trouble for anyone reading this. Everything worked. Everything was bright and cheerful, and they had fun drinks and activities for the kids. We'll go back again, and soon.”

“This hotel room did not have a closet but an aluminum coat rack. The room reeked of cheap paint for days (it had just been painted). The room was not cleaned daily. Finally, after making the bed for 3 days and no clean towels, I had to ask the maid service to send someone at 7 pm! The trash had not been emptied either and the shower/tub sinks not cleaned once during our entire 5 day stay. The maid arrives, empties the trash and gives us towels. I said what about the bed? She says "oh do you want me to make it" I was in shock. The service staff is awful, just awful. One day they had this man out in the parking lot (our room is ground level) just scraping a shovel along the pavement. It woke me up since it was 8:30 am and we were on vacation. For what purpose he did this I don't know. If I knew it was going to be like this I would have stayed at the Hampton inn next door. I'd rate this overall room experience "poor".”

• I requested a bay view and got a view of the parking lot.

“When booking my room I requested and paid for a room with a bay view. I received a room with a view of the bay if you step out of the door and look to the right.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.
• There didn't seem to be enough stuff on the continental breakfast. By the time we got down there; there was hardly anything left.
