“Typical Courtyard. Staff not especially good at managing customers. Had back to back reservations. They checked me out and locked me out after my first night after they had told me they had consolidated them. Wife called and they told her I wasn't staying there. Otherwise good stay. Clean rooms, good maid service, internet worked fine, good water pressure, comfortable beds, good security, quite.”

“However, when we reached the hotel, there was no one at check in desk. We have to wait for a 3-4 minutes until. Although the location of the hotel is pretty good, the service we got there was extremely disappointing.”

“I liked the hotel but was very unhappy with the internet service not working in a hotel of this class. I find this unacceptable.”

“When we arrived the deck clerk got all out rooms together. We all used the Internet, enjoyed the TV in lobby and used the shuttle to the train station and several in our party used the weight room. there was breakfast on site for a fee and the children used the pool daily.”

“This should be a 3 star establishment, not 2 1/2. The staff took care of any issues that I had and everything was immaculate. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Like many hotels, the exercise room is in poor shape. The machines are old and not really safe.”

“Everything was great except for one thing which I was very angry about. There was a breakfast buffet which me and my sister assumed was free. Most hotels do give a continental breakfast. This was a full buffet. I figured that maybe due to the quality of the hotel they gave a full breakfast. There was no sign saying that it cost money nor did they tell me at check in, nor did the hostess tell us the charge. It was only after we sat down and ate that we were informed that it was 9.00 a person. I paid but voiced my complaint to the sales manager who basically made me feel that it was my error. She was not willing to conceed that it was a deceptive and misleading way of getting people to eat breakfast not knowing they would be charged. I later complained to the manager who did handle it better than the other person. I was then told that since there were menus on the table tucked away between the salt and pepper, not large menus that anyone would notice I should have known I would be charged. That is absolutely ridiculous.I didn't appreciate the deceptivness. It is too bad that this soured my stay to the point where I was extremely angry. I would stay there again for the right price because the hotel itself was very nice. The staff in my opinion were not pleasant at all.”

“Great place to stay when away from home! Easy access to NYC and points of interest in NJ. Sleep away from home almost as if at home.” |
