“The staff at this property is ineffective. This guest called in a problem with the complimentary internet access within 1 hour of arrival. In 3 days the problem was never resolved and it wasn't me equipment as it worked fine elsewhere during the same period. The property only has one size bed in every room, a full size bed. No queens. No kings. Couples cannot stay at this property comfortably. 3 star hotels have customer service staff that do whatever it takes and say my pleasure. All in all, do not stay at this hotel. A 2-star rating is generous and the property does not meet the brand standard for the chain to which they belong.”

“Other then the untimeliness of the carpet cleaning this hotel is top notch. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help in any way. My room was in the back of the hotel but I still felt very safe due to the lightning and gated area. The breakfasts are unbelievably delicious!”

“This hotel is a great value. The rooms were very spacious and had great amenities. There was tons of storage everywhere. Our stay was mostly pleasant. I do have two negatives. The parking spaces are quite small. There is no maid service on the weekends unless you request in advance. Since we did not request in advance we had to ask for more towels which was a hassle. We called them up to our room and after 2 hours noon came so we ended up going to the lobby to get them.”

“Upon arrival, the desk clerk was warm and welcoming. The hotel lobby and dining room are inviting. The one-bedroom suite had plenty of room for four and the kitchen area was nicely stocked. We ate in one night and had everything we needed to prepare our groceries. The pool and barbecue area were very pleasant. Overall, I felt like I got my money's worth and then some.”

“It would be mixed. The place was way out of the way. The room was great. The help from staff was a range from really friendly and caring to very not. The reason I never used the pool was because noone could use it earlier then 10 am and by that time I was on with my day. I had planed to swim several times and didn't get to at all.”

“Hotel was good for business traveler, starting to cut back on towels and incidentals, would stay there again though.”

“The room was decent, more spacious than I anticipated. Although there was a large sticky spot on the carpet and the tub in the bathroom was cracked.”

“This place is like a home away from home. Condo like suites with a full equipped kitchen. DVD/VCR and dishwasher.”

“The hotel provides nicely appointed suites with a separate bedroom and living room - great for families with small kids, so the parents can stay up later and not keep the kids up. Bathroom was clean and functional. There was a full kitchen with enough basics to do some simple cooking and eating in the room. The free breakfast was quite decent and included hot items (eggs, sausage, oatmeal) as well as your basic cold breakfast bar stuff. The main complaint was that there was a lot of noise - we could hear every conversation happening in the parking lot, and all of the foot traffic up and down stairs. We could even here someone in a neighboring room snoring. The bed was also not very comfortable - it was overly soft and didn't provide much support.”

“It's pretty far away from anything good, and the beds were too small for us with no option to get a king sized or two twins. That was a negative. The breakfasts were good, the kitchens were great!”

“Nice place to stay. We were there with my older son and the fold out sofa gave us all privacy. I liked the full kitchen. The staff is very friendly. Perfect for us.”

“The room floor had stains, the staff never changed our linens or gave us new shampoo and there were two of us. The location was not in the area I had asked for it was 15 minutes away. I was disappointed.”

“The hotel is looking to make a buck, just like any other hotel. The first sign they showed of concern was after our third call to the front desk complaining of noise, flooded walk-ways and our alarm clock miraculously being set to 5:50 AM each day despite my wife and I only being in contact with it when we groggily reached over to turn it off the first morning and each subsequent evening.”

“The hotel itself was fine. However, the front desk would not let my husband check in (while I was tied up in meetings). He ended up sitting in the lobby for 3 hours. Sean (the manager) was very rude and short with him and would not make any exceptions. Though we had the same last name, address, credit cards, etc. It was ridiculous after he had been traveling since the night before and our room was ready.”

“Excellent hotel for the business traveler if the location is close to where you need to do business. Staff is good. They make you feel right at home with their hospitality and their breakfast and evening brunch service is really a pleasantly surprising experience. It was a very pleasant stay.” Amenities at Staybridge Suites Chatsworth, Chatsworth
