• Convenient location and accommodating staff.
• Rooms need remodeling.

“The Holiday Inn Crystal Lake is a full service hotel that could be great with a bit of sprucing up. The hotel's restaurant and lounge area were inviting; my dinner was great. I've stayed at the nearby Hampton Inn on past business trips; the Holiday Inn's friendly staff and level of service is no comparison.”

“This Holiday Inn has been nicely remodeled. The room was comfortable, very quiet and spotless. It was as nice as the Hyatt I stayed at the next night.”

• The hotel was clean, accommodating and not your typical motel feel. Hotel staff brought washed clothes to room.
• Our first room had a bug on the sheet. Room was gladly changed by staff with no problem.

“I would stay at this hotel again. I would have preferred a better quality restaurant either attached or next to it.”

• Clean room, great bed, good shower.
• Desk person didn't get off personal call to answer questions.

“Nice clean place to spend a night or more. Great bed and pillows and shower. Swimming pool was the right size to swim laps. No whirlpool or sauna.”

• The health club, pool, and back deck were excellent. Great staff!
• The lobby bar was only okay. Elevators in need of modernization.

“Conveniently located near central Crystal Lake, this recently updated Holiday Inn combines wonderful health club, pool, and deck areas with popular and vibrant nightclubs to compliment beautifully redone bathrooms and guest rooms. Counter staff were very helpful. I will certainly stay here again, and would recommend to friends and family.”

• Pool was closed for annual cleaning and we had looked forward to that.

• Room location, humidity in room, staff did not seem to care.

“I was on a trip with my daughter and infant son for a tumbling meet with my daughter that occurs very frequently, our room was on the first floor with an overview of the pool from our room, very strong chlorine smell and very humid in the room, it required us to turn on the air fullbast to get humidity out of room. then when it was time to go to bed, the heavy curtains do not cover the window and the pool light remain on until after midnight, this on the night of daylight savings, when I called them at about 1230 they did not seem to care and said that the pool is closed and as soon as they are done cleaning the light would be off, absolute terrible experience. .”

• Towels were great as were toiletries.
• Sheets with holes in them.

“The hotel was under renovation so the public spaces below ground level were expectedly not very attractive. The sofa in the lobby was in need of a cleaning as it was quite dirty. Staff was friendly. The fire alarm went off after midnight our last night there so that wasn't the best of experiences.”

• Hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. We will stay there each time we are in Crystal Lake.
• Walls were very thin. Could here the party in the next room well past one am, one night only.

“Thank you for accommodations. Our mother celebrated her 90th birthday and family came in from CA, VA, NC, FL, and Canada. Everyone stayed at this hotel and everyone was thrilled.”

• Comfort of the room.
• Restaurant.

“The hotel was under construction, but they still made it comfortable to stay at. we went to breakfast at 9:30 am and they had already started to take down the buffet, so we ordered from the menu and it was HORRIBLE. The service was the same horrible. we were very disappointed with that aspect.”

• The location for what we needed and pretty much everything.
• The smoking room was a little stuffy and we viewed a wall.

“The staff is so accomodating and friendly. The room was more than we hoped for and except for the stuffiness which we solved by running the heater fan it was really the most relaxing time for my wife and me.”

• Inviting spacious lobby friendly staff. It's nice to have a restaurant, pool, and gym available to you in the hotel.
• A bit tired shower door in one of the rooms a bit corroded.

“I definitely would stay here whenever I visit crystal lake. I like there is a lot going on there you don't need to leave the hotel if you don't want to. I also got my car from enterprise and used the van galder bus to and from the airport very convenient.”

• The room was great, and it had a pull out bed which was clean and comfortable.
• The parking was deplorable. We drove for 25 minutes to find a parking spot that was not lit and in grass.

“We enjoyed the hotel. The parking left something to be desired. There was a huge craft fair and parking was outrageous, but our beds were comfortable, our room was clean and we had a great time.”
