“The Borgata is overpriced for the amount of service you get. Room service wait was 1 to 1.5 hours for a pot of coffee. Lines for everything. They were totally understaffed. For a hotel of this caliber everything should be easy but it wasn't. The best run part of the facility was the Spa.”

“Borgata has been my house of gambling since the day it opened. I have a four day work, which leaves me a lot of free time. I have made frequent trips to the Borgata the past few years, about once every two or three weeks, the service and comped rooms are never a problem. I have never been turned down, not even at the last minute. This is where it gets ugly. When Borgata first opened, the slots were very loose. (Even J lo's mom won 1 million dollars), you could always gamble for hours on end, never a big win, but always a good bang for your buck. But ever since they started building the new tower and the revenue decline in Atlantic city 2007, the slot play has become horrible out right disgusting. The machines have definitely been tightened beyond comprehension. While this may not be apparent to the once in while gambler, as a routine gambler its almost impossible to win now at the Borgata. The slots eat money like water. The high roller room buzzes with winners for about 10 minutes on a Saturday night and then goes dead. Lots of sad frustrated high rollers just looking at their face tells you things have gotten very tight. Its sad to see that the Borgata once a beacon in the fog has turned tight like all the rest. Take my advice if you want a casino to gamble stay the hell away from the Borgata until they loosen up, which looks like it wont be anytime soon. Not to mention the new 20 something crowd the casino is catering to, loud noisy drunk kids running up and down the slot aisle, not something to hear or watch while youre losing your shirt.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.

“The Borgata Hotel is very beautiful! We had the classic room which is the cheapest, has 2 queen beds, a 2 person shower, very large fancy bathrooms. Room has everything you need like coffee maker with mugs, coffee, etc., a mini fridge, computer hookup, many closets, an in-room safe, ceiling to floor windows, hairdryer, plenty of towels and extras. The rooms are super clean as well as the whole hotel! It was the cleanest casino I've ever been in! Very nice restaurants and clubs. I'd have to say that my favorite things about this hotel are the bathrooms. I could have spent my whole vacation in the shower! And the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The only troubles we had were that it was a little hard to find once you're in Atlantic City. You can see the hotel but cannot seem to get to it. You have to follow a maze of busy streets and actually end up driving away from the hotel to get to the winding road to it. Also that the staff are not the happiest people you'd like to meet on vacation, and the prices of the food on the room service menu are outrageous!! $15. for a burger! And that is the cheapest thing on the menu! But everything else was excellent and we will definitely be going back again!” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

“A decent value, just don't expect real elegance. If you're favorably impressed by the "e" at the end of "Crowne" and with a whole section of white zinfandels on the wine list, you'll love this joint!” 3 of 5 people found this review helpful.

“The casino was great, as well as the restaurants and concert venue. The bathroom shower was moldy and the towels were stained. The salon staff were young with terrible attitudes and they were absolutely rude so we cancelled our appointments.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, Atlantic City
